I was 2-1.
I bet the Steelers, Seahawks(who had me worried for a little bit), and like an idiot bet the Raiders just for the hell of it.
I think I'll put some money on Baltimore(+2.5).
I got 11 of 14 so far in pick'em and went 3-0 betting the spread for Pitt, Pats and The Panthers!!!

Let's Go Dev-ils!!
He burned the **** out of Hill for that bomb.
Did you see his full spread diving catch? Dude is a tiny monster with heart, that is why this guy is the best in the game.
Anyway, where did everyone watch the games at? I went to Hooters in Burbank and that place was packed with Raider fans.
I think the Niners will win but I like rooting for Leinart and Fitz. It's only a few bucks to make it more interesting. If I were to place down a wager of real value tonight it would be on the Bengals. I think they'll win by more than a FG but the NFL is much harder for me to peg than college football. I'll do a substantial teaser bet on the NFL every now and then but that's it.
BTW my two losses (NCAA) last week were on road favorites. <sigh> I really need to take my own advice sometimes and not be them... but I'm already looking at SC -10 at Nebraska. :)
I watch Panthers games at my place. My friend is the only other local Panthers fan I know so we both have the Directtv package. If you know a bar or place that airs them, let me know.
Anyway, yesterday was the quintessential Panthers win. The only way they can do it, quite frankly.
Maddening defense, Lively running game and Jake using his smarts in the throwing game. There were a few plays in yesterday's game where last year's Jake maybe tries to make but instead smartly threw the ball away a bit. I think last season brought him down to earth a bit. Yesterday's game was the smartest game I've seen him throw in in nearly a season.
#89 is unbelievable. Nuff said.
It's nice to finally see what Jake and the coaching staff were talking about when they said, "This year's Drew Carter is much different than the guy who suited up last season." Last year, he misran a few routes, dropped balls, got chewed out by Jake & John Fox. And in game 1, he makes two sweet TD catches. That second one was a beauty on the part of the OL for protecting Jake, Jake for throwing in the smallest of windows and Carter for hauling it in and keeping both feet in bounds.
If game 1 was any indication of the rest of the season, I'm really excited.
One question, though. Where the hell is Dwayne Jarrett?
