Since the Chargers won, I guess this really didn't matter but how about that non offsides call on the Bears when the Chargers were on the goaline.
Watching this with my buddies on TV, we were all just speechless that they didn't call that offsides. It was funny, and good since I wanted the Bears to win but man that was baaaaaaaaad.
I usually go to Hooters because they play mostly every single game there. I think they didn't show only one game there and it was packed and the lines were long after 11 am so if you are going to watch a game at hooters, i would recommend getting there at 930-1000 because its still fairly empty and you get dibs on where to sit.

I love DeShaun's running game. The thing about him is that he's got the bad rap of fumbling and injuries. If he can get past that he should be one of the top 5-10 backs in the league. If you don't think so, you haven't seen him play.
Steve droppped a few passes and he really only had one big play. I expect him to have a lot more each game. Remember, he's aiming to be the first 2000 yd receiving season. And Drew Carter will finally be Steve's Reggie Wayne (Not as good but you know what i mean). That kid is faster than Steve Smith and he shows great potential to be a #1 receiver. As far as Kerry Colbert goes, he's not flashy at all but hes solid and i think he should be the 4th receiver after Jarret. And that's a good question, where the hell is Dwayne JArrett? If i'm not mistaken, i think he was still hurt from the preseason.
But then again, receivers like Jarrett i'm not really too excited for. I'm not too enamoured with possession receivers. I like mine fast, flashy and exciting. I guess that's why i didn't like Keyshawn last year.
And like ASUcruz said, I don't think Peppers plays every down. He just seems to make a lot of great plays here and there and then he disappears for the rest of the game. I dont get him sometimes.
The one thing that looked a whole lot better from last year is our secondary. Not the greatest but atleast they weren't getting beat deep and were actually tackling correctly.
OVerall, like you said, if the first game was a taste of what's to come, i'm freakin excited.
Jarrett was inactive for the game
When is the Natural going to give us his picks for this week?
Just wanted to mention that when you have money on Baltimore to win, the worst feeling after seeing the defense make a big play to get the ball back is seeing Kyle Boller enter the fray.
Yea that SUCKED!
Boller really wasn't that bad. He made that nice throw on 4th down and threw a TD pass (if not for a phantom offensive PI call they game would have gone to overtime). McNair sure sucked it up though.

For sure the playcalling was bad though. They had enough time to try and run the ball when they were on the goaline. Instead they passed like 7 times.
But yea, that is a sinking feeling though. Seeing your money in the hands of Kyle Boller!
