Thread: Ohio State vs. LSU in the title game

Mizzou's gripe should be with the Orange Bowl or Sugar Bowl.

Since the Rose Bowl lost #1 OSU to the BCS Title Game, they pick first. They chose Illinois. The #2 pick went to the Sugar Bowl. I assume they chose Georgia. From there, I don't know how they pick them, but the Orange Bowl probably has choice of Kansas or Mizzou, and once they chose Kansas, Mizzou was the odd man due to the 2 team rule.

I still can't believe how stupid and thicheaded the rose bowl people are that they pick a 3 loss team. Don't get me wrong, as a college football fan I will watch that game and cheer on Juice Williams (illinois qb) but I love college football and know my crap, people who don't and aren't into it as much as me wont care.

I doubt it. There was talk earlier this year that Hawaii and Boise State could feasibly get in, and they were both WAC potential at-large selections. Unless you mean only the BCS conferences, and then we're talking semantics because "only one at-large" and "only two teams" means the exact same thing.

The Rose got first choice because OSU is #1. The Sugar got second choice because LSU is #2. I assume you mean "they" to be the Rose Bowl?
