Hey, credit to the Patriots for not turning it off. If I'm paying good money to watch a laugher,it's better to watch at least one team displaying their talents than having a battle between some team's crappy first stringers, and the other team's third stringers who are just trying to kill the clock.

I thought Big Tuna actually had the best call on this whole situation during Monday Night Countdown last Monday. Both Keyshawn and Tom Jackson had their say and Tuna basically said that the coach, no matter who he is, is in a no win situation here. Basically he said he had seen coaches take heat if they try to run out the clock when having a big lead. Said he had seen coaches take heat when still throwing with a big lead. Then he said what I think nobody wants to believe here:

"Don't you think that Bill Belichek wanted that game to end as quickly as possible??"

The funny thing was, that the guys who played in the league - Keyshawn and TJ - both agreed with Tuna that Belichek wanted that game to end as quickly as possible.

Being a Pats fan, as I have noted previously, this whole thing really makes me laugh. This is all about sour grapes from the rest of the league and their media IMHO. The Pats were the only team that took the chance on Randy Moss and it is working out ok right now. You couple Moss with a HOF QB like Brady and how is it not going to work? Randy realizes he could resurrect his HOF chances and win a Super Bowl at the same time. Other smart signings (Wes Welker, Adelius Thomas, Sammie Morris) helped put them in this situation as well. Now everyone else is jealous/envious they didn't roll the dice like the Pats did.

One last thing. The Colts are in trouble. No Marvin Harrison and no Dwight Freeney this weekend. I think the Pats are going to win this game big. I have been known to be wrong before but I think they win big. Plus Belichek is going to want to give the rest of the league the finger, right??
