Thread: Survivor Football Help

I'm in a Survivor Pool, and Its down to me and 2 others. I need additional advice going into this week.

Simple rules, pick a game, no spreads, can't take the same team twice. I've taken so far:

Pats
Colts
Chargers
Bears
Jaguars
Cowboys
Panthers
Ravens
Giants
Seahawks
Packers
Steelers

I was leaning towards the Redskins, but after the Sean Taylor incident, I don't think that's a wise decision.

If you had to pick 1 team that was a LOCK to win this week, without taking any of the teams above, who would it be?

There is a little added pressure as the only payout is for first place.

Wouldn't pick the skins as a lock. The Bills are actually a decent team. The fish will win this week

My first thought was the Rams. They're playing the Falcons this week at home and it seems like they are getting healthy. The Falcons are just a bad football team while the Rams have really just been hurt all year.

I think Bulger might be hurt but Ferrotte is capable. I'd have more confidence in him than Harrington/Leftwich.

If Bulger plays he is probably right. However Gus will make it more interesting than you would want.

Pick the Browns over the Card's.

That's not a bad pick either. The Cards are so inconsistent though, they might follow up this crappy effort against the Niners with a sublime performance against the Browns.

There are no great choices this week even if you could pick anybody. I would go with

1. St Louis (see previous posts)
2. Cleveland (see previous posts)
3. Denver (Raiders can't win two in a row)

All other games seem to be coinflips....

Based on the injury report, I'm going to take the Redskins.

Talk me out of it.
