Cal was pretty impressive today, I think they have a good shot this season.
Outside of Notre Dame's Decade of Dominance, the Tolner era was the golden years of USC football.

I brought it to a hockey board? Come on SBU, you are much better than that. ICE 24, tries to paint some ridicuous portrayal of the SC follower as some dalai lamaesque uber fan who never gloats nor trash talks. Sorry, thats bullcrap of such magnitude that it cannot go without response. Read my post. It is in response to an incredibly stupid post, not to SC's performance. If you can't see that, well.....
How does anyone see the pic in your sig and still say bad words about UCLA?
I was worried about this game.
This isn't going to be our only loss this season, so don't lie to yourself SC fans, and say it is. That would be akin to saying with certainty that the Kings are going to win the cup.

Lol..If anyone just spent time on the campus they would change allegiance. Then again, the AZ schools gotz the hot ones too.
I knew it''d happen to one lower tier PAC-X team, but honestly I didn't think it'd be UDUB. Thats what's great about CFB.
If they can get past CAL and open up the passing game (still not completely sold on Barkley's present ability) they could run the table. This is going to be a great PAC-X season to watch.
I love that the people who get most butthurt are the ones who didn't even go to USC. Hilarious.
Best is a great RB, but I'm uncertain about the rest of their team. That game was a 21-21 tie midway through the 4th quarter and a one-score game until a late INT.
Cal is beatable if you can shut down the running game--obviously that's a big if.

As a matter of fact SC fans want other pac 10 teams to win each and every week because it makes them look better. When UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State and Cal lose out of conference it makes SC look bad. When was the last time SC lost out of conference? i said SC was overated at the start of the season. They lost almost their entire defense to the NFL and QB. I was expecting to them to lose at least three, however, one was not to Wash. Last year Wash quit on their coach because they knew he was a lame duck. They are a pretty good team.
Last year SC lost to a top 25 team Oregon State on the road that also won their bowl game. Florida lost at home to a top 25 team Ole Miss and played for the national championship. In the last seven years SC has lost by no more than 7 points to any team.
Worry about your own team not some other. I hope UCLA wins every game except for SC. It makes things better for the Pac 10 and in LA. One thing I do know is that everybody cares about SC football because when they lose all the posts come out.
Regards,
Minnesota actually did a good job of shutting down Best in the second half. If I recall correctly he had 118 of his 131 yds in the first half. His last 2 TD runs were little dink 2-yarders.
The Gophers played a good game; it was a shame their star wideout Decker was on the sideline with ice taped to his ankle for their last possession. That guy is a stud.
Hell, sometimes they do it after a victory.
