Don't forget the brilliant move of trading one of the best DE in the league - while in his prime - for a couple of picks.........

What's worse than the Raiders? Trying to go to one of their games wearing the road teams jersey. You won't make it out alive. I'll wait until next year for Carolina to come back to California.
Right now i think the Raiders have been worst in the league for a few seasons, even worse than the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. Browns are 29 - 53 and Dolphins are 30 - 52 dating to the 2003 season. Oakland's record? 20 - 62.

I've been a fan all my life and all I can say is Pathetic.
At least the Kings will bring me victory...oh wait. The Dodgers, yeah...that's it.

Could be far worse, you could be a Lions fan, who hired a color commentator as a GM, who has proceeded to run the team into the ground.
Even William Clay Ford's son says Matt Millen should be fired.

Jay Gazer is reporting that this is very close to happening.

Matt the Idiot got his walking papers today. Fox, do us all a favor and do NOT rehire him.

Kiffin gets the axe today. Over the phone. No pay.
Al Davis and the Raiders are the laughing stock of ALL professional sports franchises.

The sad part is, the team actually has a lot of good pieces in place. The defense has by and large looked pretty good. Fargas injury hurt the offense but there is plenty of potential in the Fargas/McFadden/Bush tandem, Russell looks about as good as you could ask for out of a rookie... Building up the O-Line a bit and adding a real WR threat are the Raiders' main concerns on the field.
Outplayed Buffalo for 3 quarters, outplayed San Diego for the 1st half... they have at times looked very, very good.
I'm glad the firing is done with. Stupid or not, at least it is DONE and we can move on from here.
Sucks that all the bull**** off the field is taking away from the fact that this team could actually be pretty damn good in a year or two.
