The sad part is, the team actually has a lot of good pieces in place. The defense has by and large looked pretty good. Fargas injury hurt the offense but there is plenty of potential in the Fargas/McFadden/Bush tandem, Russell looks about as good as you could ask for out of a rookie... Building up the O-Line a bit and adding a real WR threat are the Raiders' main concerns on the field.
Outplayed Buffalo for 3 quarters, outplayed San Diego for the 1st half... they have at times looked very, very good.
I'm glad the firing is done with. Stupid or not, at least it is DONE and we can move on from here.
Sucks that all the bull**** off the field is taking away from the fact that this team could actually be pretty damn good in a year or two.
