IMO it's a shame that we can't compare these swimmers to some of the world record holders from the past, those without the swimsuits.
You've got a point there, but that way you'd have to ban all kinds of new stuff from sports.

You should consider that present-day swimmers have access to more and more technology every day, from dietary supplements or detailed analysis/specialized training to recent developments in techniques (dolphin kicks, etc.)...the list is endless.

Sure, none of these have such a dramatic effect like the new swimsuit, but I hope you get my point.

Yeah that was a chicken **** move, you lost fair and square, there are thousands of wrestlers that would gladly take that bronze with no complaints.

Well, what can you expect from an Armenian wrestler hired by Sweden?

Don't they have a Gold Medal Match and a Bronze Medal Match in Wrestling?

Had he already been out of contention for Gold, and knew he didn't want the Bronze... why didn't he forfeit his Bronze Medal match so his opponent can win it? I bet he would like it.

But it's an insult to beat the guy in the Bronze Medal match and then throw it away.

Didn't even think of that, since the last name seemed a bit odd for a Swede.

Also NBC is lying to the folks in the mountain time zone when the "LIVE" tag is on screen, figured that out when Phelps was supposed to race at 8:48 MDT, and it wasn't shown until an hour later.

So I was watching a bit of Mens Volleyball last night and I don't get why there is a group hug in the center of the court after EVERY FRICKIN' POINT.

The girls and the guys do it, every point. But it's sexier when the girls do it, especailly when there's some butt slaping...
