Thread: Do you even care about the Olympics?

Why the hell do we need the olypmics in the first place? Every sport has world championships every flippin year! the olympics is just a money grab ***** parade for every city that gets it, instead of upgrading health care or schooling systems, they spend billions of dollars on useless venues that are only used once and some that are still being paid for decades down the road (see the montreal winter games).

Not only that, but that stupid ass mother ******ing torch that they parade around all over the friggin world is such a scam. Not many people realize that the whole torch ceremony was originated in NAZI GERMANY by ADOLF HITLER. If you are supporting this useless 2 weeks binge of sporting events you should really do your research before you start saying how great it is.... if you want to watch sports, hit up the world cup for your favorite sport every year, its the same bloody thing without the world wide commercial twist!

Do we really need water polo to be on 100 channels at the same time for an hour??

Nobody imposes the Olympic Games on a city. If you feel that cities waste their money, complain to them, not to the Games itself.

And do you really think that annual championships don't serve the purpose of making money? Better think again...

The Nazis NEVER actually invented anything, they just adapted stuff and modified it.
The whole fire thing originated in the ancient Olympic games, the first Olympic flame was ignited 1928 in Amsterdam. The Nazis just added the torch...

Oh, and did you ever ask yourself where rocket technology originated? It was pioneered by one Wernher von Braun, a Nazi and a member of the SS. After WWII, von Braun helped the Americans with their space program and contributed big time in the Apollo program.

I guess you also condemn the moon landing as Nazi conspiracy, or should I be wrong?
