Thread: NASCAR questions

You know what they should do to make NASCAR entertaining?

Let the teams do whatever they want to their cars.

Enough of this "equal playing field" BS. If Skeeter wants to strap a rocket to his car and fly around Talladega, let him. And if Cletus wants to one-up him and attach a Saturn V....all the better. If/when they die, well people are just there for the crashes anyway. And if they take out a few thousand fans, well at least it isn't from the deep end of the gene pool.

Nascar: Intro to racing. Then people move up to Rally, Indy and F1, but many people can't get past Nascar.

If the NHL had NASCARs marketing team it would be one of the top sports even with Bettman at the helm.

Are there three things uglier than Dale Jarrett's car???

This is me. Except I skipped Nascar altogether, just went straight into open wheel and LeMans.

open wheel > nascar
i grew up as a race fan
and i still am
my dad is a mechanic and showed me so much about racing.
i've been blessed to go to many races, and i can not get into nascar.

irl or nhra now...that's a different story
