It looks like there will be 4 west coast teams in the series. Very nice.
And good job by Serrano and UCI making it for the first time.

The Cal State Fullerton/UCLA Sunday game was a real nailbiter. I don't know how far the Titans will go this year, but one thing that's refreshing is how good their fundamentals are each and every season. Perfectly laid down bunts, timely double plays, and overall smart fielding are the traits of George Horton teams. Their bunting of guys into scoring position is automatic. It makes major leaguers look embarassing in comparison.
So, what round are they at now? On the NCAA site, they have brackets, but they're ****ing blank! Is it UCI playing CSUF, or are they not to the finals yet?
The left side of the bracket figures to be all west coast teams. The winner of the oregon st/michigan series gets the last spot on that side of the bracket joining the Titans, ASU and UCI. The Titans play the winner of OSU/Mich.
I'd be surprised if Michigan rallied to beat OSU.
Lets Go Titans!
Ah, so Titans vs Anteaters semi?
It's not exactly a semi-final. The super-regionals were to see you makes it to the College World Series. 8 Teams make it to Omaha. The have two brackets of 4 teams each that play a double elimination tourney and then the winner's of the bracket play a best 2 out of 3 series to see who is the champion.....
I'm going back this year for the second time. Anybody that is a baseball fan should put attending the CWS in Omaha on their list of things they must do. It is outstanding......
Oregon State vs UCI. Go Eaters!
