Not to mention Buss' kid Jim. I have read stuff that says that he's calling a lot of the shots and it is basically Kupchak's job to do what he says.

The problem? Jerry Buss' son Jim was a driving force behind the drafting of Bynum with the No. 10 pick in the 2005 draft and badly wants to keep his pet project off-limits. If Jackson were to refuse an extension -- or even leave the organization before next season in a worst-case scenario -- this matter figures to be the biggest wedge.

This will be an interesting offseason.

Dr. Buss calls the shots, Mitch isnt going anywhere because he does what he is told.

As long as Phil is around, you have to think he has a lot to say as well.

Jason Kidd would not have helped our interior defense.
