I can see the hype and why they're trying to push Cain. I heard he was a great wrestler, but last night he showed some good stand up.
Also, agree about the Neer stuff...totally bothered me.

Yea, you can see he really oozes potential. I think his physique is really impressive as well. He's a big dude and it's pretty much all muscle. He's at a good camp (AKA) and by all accounts is machine in training, so the sky seems to be the limit. It will be interesting to see who they match him up against next.
Speaking of guys with potential, what did you guys think of Anthony Johnson? He sure is exciting, big time strikes and has a strong wrestling background. He could make some noise in the division by the end of the year.
Looks like Karo Parisyan's next fight will be in May against Josh Koshcheck
All of you guys say he should take training more seriously.
How do you guys know he doesn't take it seriously?
Again, the dude hadn't fought in over 8 months and been having nagging problems (Back, panic attacks). Of course he wans't going to be in the best shape of his life in the fight against Kim.
Ok, I know he's (apparently) your cousin, but don't take the comments so personally. Just look at his fights. Up until now, Karo has been one of those guys who has gotten by mostly on natural talent than actual training (kinda like BJ).
Karo Parisyan isn’t going anywhere … just finally training at UFC blog for UFC news, results, videos, rumors, fights, pics and tickets — MMAmania.com'No I haven’t thought about going up or down [in weight classes], what I have thought about was actually getting in shape for a fight. I’m not partying with the girls so much and I’m starting to really train for the fights.”
We understand some of the problems he's faced, but the guy has 7 decision wins (2 of which are split). He's only finished 2 fights in the UFC out of 12. His judo skills are enough to keep him in fights, but if he wants to really be a contender, he's got to step it up in training, round out his skills, show his commitment to the sport by having a proper gas tank. Once he starts doing these things, he's gonna start finishing fights and that's going to lead to a title shot. Training with Greg Jackson's camp is a good move for him and hopefully it's a sign of things to come.
