My friends and I are thinking about going. Do you guys think it's worth it to sit upstairs? In the 300s? Can you even really tell what's going on from up there?

If you're not sitting down low, you'll be watching the screens. Just the way it is. You'll try to watch, but you'll gravitate to them. having said that, I went to the one in anaheim and had an absolute blast. We spent about $100 or so for the tickets. Guess it depends on the cost.

That's about what the tickets are plus the fees and stuff. I'm leaning towards going just for the experience.

You should. Keep an eye out for the pre fight stuff too. When I went Wand and Kos were doing signings and so was Joe Stevenson. Gotta get there early though because the lines were way long.

Some quick fights last night. The Nogueira-Couture fight was a war though, wish it had gone five rounds. But Couture looked sluggish on the feet, Nog is a good sound boxer but he's pretty slow and Couture was getting beat soundly in the stand up game.

Yea, I wish that fight went 5 rounds. I usually hate fights that go to decision, but that one was great!

ASU, I went to UFC 97 in Montreal for the experience. I was literally in the last row at the Bell Centre. It's true, you do end up watching the screens. If I went again, I would definitely want to be closer, simply because I didn't like the caliber of fans around me. Very uneducated, just wanted to see the quick KO, booed when fights hit the mat, etc. I can only hope that spending more money will equal being around more like minded fans who aren't just there to get drunk and see some blood.

Just my $0.02. I'm glad I went, but I wouldn't buy those tickets again.

I thought Couture looked good early on. But he started getting beat like a rented mule and did seem to become rather lethargic. He impressed the s**t out of me though by being able to bounce back and escape the brink of elimination on three different occasions! I've seen him fight before and have always liked him, but that was impressive!

Nogueira looked to be back on top of his game as well. From the start, just looking at him, he looked like he was in better shape and much more prepared than he was for his fight against Mir. I look forward to his next bout!
