Hypothetically speaking, should Kampmann lose, who gets the next crack at GSP? And if he wins, does he still get the shot by beating an un-ranked opponent?

If Kampmann loses I have no idea who will get the next shot at GSP. If he wins I think he might still get it just because the UFC has no one else really worthy and GSP has wins over the top guys like Fitch.

Maybe they'll throw Fitch in against him since he hung with GSP for five rounds. It's wild, the WW division was considered the UFC's most stacked division a few years ago, now there's no contender for GSP because he's pretty much cleared it out.

Johnson / Yoshida @ 104 - maybe Johnson if he wins, it'll be 3 in a row, but he hasn't beaten any of the top guys.

Hardy / Kim @ 105 - if Hardy wins it'll be 4-0 in the UFC and on a 7 fight streak. Again, he hasn't beaten a top WW in the UFC yet, but he is a top 10 WW (according to Sherdog).

Fitch / Almeida @ 106 - if Fitch wins it'll be 3-0 since the GSP fight, but both wins have been decisions, so I think he'll need a few more quality wins and finishes.

Alves / Thiago @ 107 - neither guy can earn a title shot with a victory here.

So yeah, the outlook is not good. I'd say Hardy has the best chance is Kampmann loses, but I say GSP would take him down and submit him fairly easily.

Out of all the guys listed above who haven't fought GSP, I like Johnson's upside the most. But he is still far off.

I think Alves will eventually get a title shot and could be the guy who beats GSP. But it's going to be a tall order.

Apparently a good night of fights last night. I caught bits and pieces, but I was at work and the online feed I found was garbage. Sounds like Diaz fought his typical fight: get beat up 1st round, come back 2nd round and submit your opponent.

Made it home just in time to catch the Ultimate Fighter. I was kinda surprised Roy Nelson was picked so late. It was nice to see Kimbo being treated the same way he's always been treated when Rampage told him he was going to be picked and he didn't need to train or workout.

The fight was nothing special. Take down, GNP from guard, get stood up, repeat. For a ju-jitsu guy, Abe did nothing to threaten off his back with sub attempts or sweeps. I couldn't help but laugh when Dana called it the bloodiest fight on TUF. Does he not remember Edwin Dewees getting his bleached blonde hair dyed bright red from all the blood?

One last thing, how could Marcus Jones have such bad cardio? I know football is only played 30 seconds at a time, but dude, you were / are a professional athlete, get a gas tank.

Should be an interesting season, I'm interested in finding out what Big Country does to piss off Rashad next week.

Rampage has apparently retired due to a spat with Dana over The A-Team/TUF/Rashad/Machida and a ton of other stuff. He seems convinced that he can make it as an actor. Somehow I'm not as sure. He'll be back.

From what Rampage said on his website, Dana seems like he was a dick to him. Not a far stretch to accept that. There are two sides of the story, and Rampage has a few loose screws.

**Spoiler about last night's TUF**

What a horrible fight! 2 guys in the middle of the cage leaning over with their hands on their knees huffing and puffing. The NFL guys don't seem to have anything in the way of cardio. And coming from Jackson's camp, I would expect better from McSweeney. Not sure how McSweeney won that anyway. Wes had ground & pound, got him down a couple times and even went for a couple submissions. All McSweeney did was land leg kicks. And I thought Rampages coaching was bad last week, Evans was just as bad. Just screaming "you gotta go" over and over again isn't good cornering.

So, it looks like we get the big fight only 3 weeks in. Big Country vs Kimbo! On paper, this is an easy fight for Nelson, but who knows. My theory is that Kimbo loses, which would do no harm to his rep as Nelson is a guy Kimbo SHOULD lose to, but then Kimbo gets brought back later on to replace an injured fighter. Rampage really should have used one of his 2 picks to get Kimbo an easier fight.

What did you guy's think of Kimbo? He did better than I thought he would standing up, but as expected he was clueless on the ground.

Man I really hope someone body kicks the hell out of Nelson though.
