Roger Huerta-Kenny Florian in August
Report: Roger Huerta vs. Kenny Florian set for UFC 87 | MMAjunkie.com
I really like this fight. The proper step up in competition for Huerta and a worthy opponent for Florian. This one is clearly #1 contender's match.
I think it makes for a great fight, Huerta's gas tank is seemingly endless but Florian has good cardio too. I think Florian has more well rounded striking but Huerta's hands might be better. Huerta is the better wrestler, but Ken Flo has the edge in BJJ.
Love this matchup!
Report: Affliction loses venue for July 19 debut show | MMAjunkie.com
Not a good way for things to start for Affliction. Hopefully they can find another venue, but I still question the PPV draw of Sylvia & Fedor.

At the bottom, it also mentions that EliteXC has now banned Affliction at their shows. I guess Dana & the UFC aren't the only evil ones.

UFC cuts more bait, releases Din Thomas, Kuniyoshi Hironaka, Tommy Speer and more at UFC blog for UFC news, results, videos, rumors, fights, pics and tickets — MMAmania.com
A little surprising they cut Din, since one of his 2 losses (in a row) was due to injury.
Makes sense for the UFC. They have a huge fighter pool and need to cut some of these guys, otherwise they are obliged to put them on PPV undercards when maybe they dont' really deserve it because of their salaries.
Cutting Din is surprising, but at the same time LW is such a deep division.
In an article over on SI.com, Josh Gross is claiming that the payroll for the Affliction show is going to be in the $6 million range. I just don't see how they can pull this off.
Leben has been sentanced to 35 days in jail. Bisping fight apparently off now. Nice to see the justice system rewards those who are (fairly) honest and try to do the right thing.
