Bring back George The Animal Steele... He's one of the five I list over Benoit as my personal favorites...

No, he's just some one who is deeply disturbed by the event, as am I and for me right now, the WWE kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Benoit's finishing move, the 'crippler crossface' was a painful hold that stretches the neck and given how he killed his wife and kid, I know what I'll think about everytime I see any footage of Benoit or any other wrestler applying the hold. Benoit WAS an extremely well respected wrestler and even was a hero to some. How can this news NOT be disturbing?

I'll miss his excellent in ring performances. He could make anyone look good and tell any story with his matches. Chris Benoit was a quality wrestler of the highest caliber unfortunately though, Chris Benoit the person has done something so horrible that it will now always be his legacy. So disappointing and sad on so many levels.

Vince McMahon promotes roids and promtes wrestlers to do things that they don't want to do but are forced to for more air time which in turn equals more money and title belts. He wants people bulked up for the camera or for people to do stunts they don't want to do (owen hart) which leads to their deaths.
Unfortunately my father in law was sued by Vince McMahon over the Hart death and all I can say is what an ASS VKM is and how huge of an ego he has. He only cares about ratings and $$ and not the well being of his 'performers.' He is responsible for the some of the deaths in professional wrestling.

Why did he sue your dad?

I was about to ask if that WAS Brett Hart:pardon:.

Given the circumstances that he was in, Vince couldn't risk the WWF's heavyweight title holder to leaving for WCW with more credibility than his replacement . Even in the world of sports entertainment, you can see why something like that would be tough for Vince to swallow. The problem with Brett is that he began to believe his Hitman character a little too much and he was putting himself before the business. That can't happen, especially from Vince's point of view. Vince has admitted what he's done and he's profited from it immensely. Basically that video allowed him to create the 'Mr McMahon' persona that he used to feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin and he still uses the persona today. Mr McMahon is easily one of my favourite, if not my favourite character in the WWE.
What else is funny to see in the video is HHH and Shawn Michaels lie to Brett's face claiming that they didn't know anything about the screw job. Vince deserved the punch in the face that Brett gave him and Brett deserved to be screwed.

I'll never forget how hard Bobby laughed when I called Vince "Ed McMahon" by mistake. :ddoh:

[QUOTE=NastiMarvasti;861648]Why did he sue your dad?
My father in-law was sued by VKM because he sold the equipment to the WWF that was used in the Owen Hart stunt. The hart family sued WWF, then VKM sued the suppliers like my father in law and Lewmar (who made the product) and my father in-laws company who only sold it, didn't even make it.....it nearly bankrupted him.
