Rugby

I've always had a facination with the sport but never really got to understand it fully as there is almost none to watch or participate in for the most part in the US...at least where I live.

I went to a couple games in Europe a couple years back during the 6 Nations Tournament, I saw Ireland (boxing:) v England @ Croke Park in Dublin (very historic game I might add) and Wales v. France (with some Welsh cats I met at a Canadian pub in Paris). I loved it, the games were awesome and the fans more so (albeit a bit crazy...take the craziest fans from the Black Hole in Oakland and multiply it by 5) but didn't really understand it (which considering my Irish heritage is a big no no).

I'm trying to learn more about the game, are there any rugby leagues around here in the southland or any bars that show games? I'd love to check some out and talk with fans to learn more about the sport.

As for bars the English pubs down in Santa Monica will show the Internationals, sometimes Spike TV has Australian Rugby League on
