    The US just might make it out of day 1 with a lead!!

    It's a guarantee now... US up 5-2 and leading 1-up in the final match thru 14.

    About the best start they could have hoped for.

    Still 1-up thru 17. They just halved 17 with birdies. 4 great shots into that hole.

    US guaranteed a 3 point lead going into tomorrow, but unless Europe wins the par-5 18th it will be 6-2.

    As a Brit it pxxses me off when they whine about U.S. crowds, yes there are major differences between European and U.S. crowds but it makes neither better or worse. The U.S. deserved to win and I have to say I had this down as a U.S. win the moment they decided to reform their Ryder cup selection.

    Only thing that could have been better would have been Monte being there and having his ass handed to him as well. I hate that ****ing guy. Monte proves why women can't golf, their boobs get in the way.

    Anthony Kim was huge. He was throwing darts out there, and even when he missed a shot he recovered and made par. Sergio could never come up for air. The hometown guys were huge, too. Boo was great. Furyk came up big.

    Karlsson and Poulter were monsters, too.
