U.S beats Mexico again!

Remember the days when the U.S. would just get ****-kicked by Mexico?

Not anymore!

The U.S. is 9-2-1 against Mexico since 2000, including 8-0-1 at home, although Sunday most of the crowd of 60,000 at Soldier Field was wearing green.

Having more oppo fans at home games is still a problem though. Especially since quite a few of those oppo fans display boorish behavior and act like cretins. But that is what makes this win so sweet!

Let the riots in Cudahy and Bell Gardens commence!

We need to play them more in Mexico. Playing the majority of their tough games in the US isn't helping to get them where they need to be come World Cup time. I would have preferred the "A" team played in Copa America instead of the Gold Cup for that reason.

I hate soccer but love watching nations battle in just about anything. Not only that I'm of Mexican descent and being the only US supporter in the family it's sweet sticking it to the family whenever USA gets over on dirty, cheap, diving candy arse Mexico.

But I cannot check every thread and 'So happy!' as a thread title could have been about anything.

...and the US qualifies for the next Confederations Cup. Should be a good tune up for 2010.

I was at the game in Foxboro vs El Salvador and there was one section of US fans, an entire stadium of El Salvador and Guatemanla fans (they played afterwards). It seems to me that the US can never play before a home crowd because whoever we play has more soccer fans in our country than we do. At least more who are into it enough to go to the game.
