he does have some big balls...well...one anyway, but i'm rooting for anyone on team garmin-slipstream. i know i know i'm un-merikan...
He shoulda stayed retired.
Been watching pretty much every day. I'm very interested to see what goes down on Saturday. Lance definitely won't win, as I think Contador and Shleck are better riders than him at this point in his career, but he should hold on to 3rd in Paris.
Next year I'll expect something similar. He can definitely compete, and he'll bring interest to the Tour and cycling in general for another year... However, like he's said, he just doesn't have that high end, top level stuff the way some of the younger riders do. Contador could win the next 4 Tours.
Considering Armstrongs short preparation his broken collar bone(Which really ruined his autumn preperation.) I thought he has done phenemonally well. Contador has been awesome this tour and after the time trial yesterday he looks pretty damn unstopable, well, apart fom the fact that his unstopable team will be broken up next year. I think we get to see what Contador has really got next year.
One more point, Cavendish is an awesome sprinter but can at times be a complete **** as a person. I am shouting for Thor this sunday.
Lance Armstrong is a sure bet to be on the podium tomorrow along with eventual TDF winner for the second time,Contador. Great showing by Lance.
