Default WWE Capitol Punishment PPV Predictions

    WWE Capitol Punishment PPV Predictions

Another PPV tonight and it's called Capitol Punishment. The main buildup for this PPV was the stupid fake press conferences with President Obama. They kept hyping the PPV as if the President will actually show up for this event. The card is quite stale as well. I have a feeling this will easily generate the worst PPV buy-rate of the year.

Also, no Diva match advertised... so I can see that being thrown in on the card.

    Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk

These two had an amazing feud last year on Smackdown that ultimately led to CM Punk getting his head shaved. Now these two superstars are on RAW and they're suddenly thrown together again. Why? They wrestled each other a few times on RAW and billed it as "Rivalry renewed".

There is no doubt that Mysterio and Punk can still put on a hell of a match. The only problem is that this match is pretty pointless. It really doesn't matter who wins here, but I see Punk winning since he's next in line to lose to Cena. His contract is expiring very soon and Punk is still leaning towards not re-signing with the WWE.

My Prediction: CM Punk by pinfall with the GTS.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Wade Barrett (Intercontinental Champion) vs Ezekiel Jackson

This feud kind of sucked and didn't really make sense to me. As you all know, Barrett, Slater, Gabriel, and Jackson were in The Corre. A group with no leadership and that everyone is equal. Big Zeke suddenly decided that he didn't need The Corre and turned his back on them.

Barrett, Slater, and Gabriel then assaulted Jackson backstage because he quit the group. They had a Intercontinental Championship match last month at the Over the Limit PPV. Big Zeke was going to win the IC Title but The Corre interfered and the match ended in a disqualification.

Then suddenly, Wade Barrett acts like he doesn't need Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. Does this make sense to you? Am I missing something here? Wade Barrett bails on The Corre in a few 6-Man Tag matches on Smackdown. Slater and Gabriel ask Barrett what the hell he's doing and he goes off and says that if it weren't for him, Slater and Gabriel would be nothing. Gabriel and Slater then said the same would be said for Barrett because they quit The Corre.

Now Big Zeke has a rematch against Wade for the title. This time, Wade is alone. I don't know where Wade is going to go from here. I can see Big Zeke finally winning the Intercontinental Championship tonight.

My Prediction: Ezekiel Jackson wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship by submission with the Torture Rack.

United States Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (United States Champion) vs Dolph Ziggler

Just like the Rey Mysterio/CM Punk match I have to ask... WHY?! Kofi and Dolph had a great feud on Smackdown last year for the Intercontinental Championship. These two guys get drafted over to RAW and WWE thinks the feud is fresh again.

There's no story to this feud either. They're just kind of thrown together. Dolph Ziggler lost his blonde hair because he was supposed to be "New and Improved". That didn't work so he dyed his hair again. Meanwhile, Kofi Kingston is just kind of there. He doesn't really defend the US Title (Wade doesn't really defend the IC Title either).

I really don't know what WWE is thinking here. Do you put the belt on Ziggler? Do you keep it on Kofi? It really doesn't matter because these two will likely be in the Money in the Bank match next month regardless.

I'll just stick with a Kofi Kingston win because I flipped a coin.

My Prediction: Kofi Kingston by pinfall after hitting the Trouble in Paradise.

Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio

Ever since Alberto Del Rio got drafted to RAW... he didn't really have an opponent. He was left out of the Over the Limit PPV. It's his destiny to become the WWE Champion. What's the next best thing while he waits his turn against Super Cena? Why it's the Big Show.

This feud started when Big Show and Kane were still WWE Tag Team Champions. Basically, Big Show was a dick and sat on Alberto Del Rio's car when he wasn't suppose to. Ricardo Rodriguez got mad at Big Show for touching the car and Show shoved him and insulted Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio's way of "coming back" was to get Ricardo Rodriguez to hit Big Show with the car. Big Show over-sold it and yelled for like 10+ minutes. It was painfully to watch (and not because Show was "hurt"). What was also bad was that Kane kept screaming for help. Really? Kane of all people? Way to hurt his character even more.

So while Big Show was "injured" for weeks... Alberto Del Rio had a few promos. He said he's suing Big Show for damaging his car and says that Bad things happen to bad people.

Last Monday on RAW, Alberto Del Rio fought Kane and he got DQed because he wouldn't let go of the Cross Armbreaker submission. Big Show stormed the ring and attacked Del Rio. Ricardo came to his defense and attacked Show, which allowed Del Rio to escape. Big Show then punched the living hell out of Ricardo and pretty much killed him. Kane showed mercy again and pulled Big Show off of the dead Ricardo.

Then Big Show showed up on Smackdown because he heard a "rumor" that Alberto Del Rio is there. It really makes no sense to have them on Smackdown but they had to hype the match some more. Teddy Long didn't allow Big Show to put his hands on Del Rio before the PPV because he's being sued for assaulting Ricardo and that Teddy would be in trouble. So Teddy decided to put Big Show in a match against Mark Henry.

Mark Henry got to the ring and got murdered by Big Show. The World's Strongest Man got taken out on a stretcher.

I'll have to admit... it's nice to see them make Big Show look so strong. Crazy strong. But Alberto Del Rio needs to win this match. I can see Big Show going crazy and then he loses the match by DQ. Or I can see Alberto Del Rio managing to fight off Show and beating him cleanly. Either way, Alberto Del Rio is likely going to win.

My Prediction: Alberto Del Rio by submission.

    Alex Riley vs The Miz

No way Alex Riley loses here. That would just be terrible booking. Oh crap, I'm talking about the WWE here. So perhaps Alex Riley is going to lose after all.

This match is the biggest singles match of A-Ry's career. (I've been spelling it A-Ri the whole time... ugh. But officially it's A-Ry.) Alex has been getting decent cheers ever since he turned on The Miz. The question is... can he deliver in a PPV Match?

The Miz is great at putting people over. Look what he did for Daniel Bryan. So I can definitely picture Miz putting over A-Ry here. I think The Miz has definitely solidified his spot as a main-eventer so losing wouldn't hurt him one bit.

If they really want to continue this feud.. the could have either one win by a roll-up and then the loser could just say they were lucky and have a re-match at the MITB PPV next month. But I'm going to go with A-Ry winning.

My Prediction: Alex Riley by pinfall. Possibly a roll-up.

WWE Championship Match: John Cena (WWE Champion) vs R-Truth

R-Truth as a heel is great. He's mentally "unstable" and he calls everyone Little Jimmy. Awesome. He even owns a countout victory over Cena.

If you're wondering how/why Truth turned heel it was because he lost his #1 Contender Spot to John Morrison on a episode of RAW sometime in April before Extreme Rules. At the Extreme Rules PPV, he destroyed Morrison and eventually "injured him" (Morrison needed surgery).

Truth wanted his #1 Contender spot but the RAW GM is seems to be racist and didn't pick him. So at Over the Limit, he fought and defeated Rey Mysterio.

Cena finally wanted to put an end to Truth's crazy conspiracy rants so that's why we have a WWE Title Match.

Unfortunately for Truth... there is NO CHANCE IN HELL he will beat Super Cena. I just hope and pray that Truth looks strong here. We all know how Cena matches go. Cena will get destroyed for 95% of the match and then comes back by hitting a few moves and his finisher to win easily.

Hopefully the situation is somewhat reversed here. Maybe R-Truth will get so frustrated that he can't put Cena away... then with one slight mistake, Cena can roll him up for the win. This way, Truth would be "caught off guard" and wouldn't look weak losing this match. Or we could have R-Truth refusing to stay down and it takes like 3 Attitude Adjustments to put him away. That would work too.

Knowing WWE though... I think the match will go exactly how I originally described it.

My Prediction: John Cena retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Christian

Christian and Randy Orton. I'm loving this feud eventually I still hate how they made Christian drop the title after 5 days after winning the World Heavyweight Championship on Extreme Rules.

Everyone kept praying that it's all a part of the bigger picture and that we should be patient. At the same time, everyone is worried because we all know Vince McMahon has no faith in Christian being a main eventer.

I'll recap the feud so you'll can see why it's good. Christian winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules was a feel good moment for all. Then "5 days later" on Smackdown... Teddy Long made Christian defend the WHC. How did Teddy Long pick his opponent? Why he polled the audience! Sheamus? Boo. Mark Henry? LOL. Randy Orton? Woo-hoo!

Orton then defeated Christian for the title. Christian got his rematch and lost at Over the Limit.

After Over the Limit, Christian asked for one more match. He knows deep in his heart that he can defeat Randy Orton. He polled the audience as to whether or not they think he should get a rematch. The WWE Universe cheered but Teddy Long says no. If you were Christian, wouldn't you be mad too? The GM polls the audience to decide a match then you do the same but the GM doesn't allow it. What gives?

Teddy Long put Christian, Sheamus, and Mark Henry in a match for the #1 Contender spot. Orton was on commentary. Mark Henry attacked Orton for no reason so Orton came in and RKOed Mark Henry. At the same time, Christian pinned Sheamus (up to a 6 count) but the ref was distracted in trying to get Orton out of the ring. Sheamus then finished Christian off with a Brogue Kick to become the #1 Contender.

Christian was ticked off the following week because he said he had Sheamus beat and Orton was the reason why the ref was distracted. Christian asked the audience if the match should be a Triple Threat Match for the WHC. They cheered again, but Teddy Long refuses to put Christian in the title match. Instead, Teddy made Christian the Special Guest Referee. During that match, Christian took a ref bump from Sheamus and pretended his arm was injured. Sheamus had Orton beat, but Christian counted to two and stopped. Sheamus got pissed off and Orton caught him with an RKO. Christian counted to 3 and Orton retained the title. After the match, Christian attacked Orton with the World Heavyweight Title, turning heel.

The following week, Christian said he turned his back on his peeps because he blames them for cheering Orton when Teddy Long polled the audience. Later in the night, Sheamus had a rematch against Orton in a non-title No DQ match. Christian interfered and attacked Orton again with the belt. Sheamus got the win.

This past Friday Night on Smackdown... Sheamus said he deserves the #1 Contender spot since he beat Orton last week. Teddy Long again, pisses Christian off more by making him wrestle Sheamus. If Sheamus wins, the match at the PPV is a Triple Threat. If Christian wins, it stays the same. Christian won pretty cleanly (he bounced Sheamus's head off the steel ring post). After the match, Orton chased Christian away but went back to the ring to punt Sheamus in the head. Not sure what Sheamus did to deserve that... but it was suppose to be a message sent to Christian.

Now here we are at the match. I would really like to see heel Christian win but I don't see it happening. I can see Super Orton winning yet again and therefore heel Christian can whine some more. I'm okay with that as long as Christian remains in the title picture. Maybe Christian can lose and then Teddy Long won't give him any more title matches so Christian can win the Money in the bank and then cash it in on Orton immediately to get booed even more.

My Prediction: Randy Orton retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

Angry WWE Capitol Punishment PPV Review

    WWE Capitol Punishment PPV Review
    My Review Score: 4/10

This PPV sucked. It was predictable and stale. Most of the matches were average at best and some of them (especially the Cena/Truth match) was downright terrible.

If I *really* had to pick the best match of the night, I would say it was Punk and Mysterio.

Overall, I went 6-1 in my predictions. Yay. I guess.

United States Championship Match: Kofi Kingston (United States Champion) vs Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero

Pretty solid opening to the PPV. I couldn't really get into this one at all because we've seen this match a million times already. It felt like I knew which moves were coming next before they executed it.

I did like the finish though because there were a bunch of blocking and dodging of the finishers. The finish came when Ziggler was about to give Kofi the Zig Zag but Kofi grabbed onto the ropes. Kofi then got eye-raked or something by Vickie and then Ziggler put the sleeper on Kofi. It looked a little botched because I think Kofi thought it was a Zig Zag again, but it wasn't.

Kofi fought off the sleeper as long as he could and got near the ropes, but Dolph illegally used his foot to kick the bottom rope so he could roll back to the center of the ring. Kofi had nowhere to go and passed out.

Final Result: Dolph Ziggler wins the United States Championship by submission.

    Alex Riley vs The Miz

I personally really like Alex Riley. Ever since he was on NXT Season 2, I've always said that he was great on the mic. But the main question is... can he wrestle a whole match and keep the crowd into it?

The answer unfortunately... was no. Maybe it was the match being slow or maybe the crowd just wasn't too into it. There was something that felt very... boring about this match. The crowd cheered for A-Ry when his music hit. Justin Gabriel announced that he was from Washington D.C. and the cheers got louder. But after that, it died down real fast.

The crowd was pretty split for this one too. "Let's Go Riley!" and "Let's Go Miz!" chants. The Miz took control for most of the match, making Riley look weak. The commentators played off the fact that Riley was inexperienced and whatnot.

The finish came when Riley got the upper hand outside the ring near the announce table. Michael Cole yelled at Riley repeatedly about how he's disrespecting The Miz. Riley eventually grabbed Cole and threw him to the floor. Booker T and The King were laughing their asses off.

The Miz grabbed the briefcase and tried to take a swing at A-Ry but Alex dodged it and hit some kind of DDT. (Almost like Edge's Education DDT.) Alex Riley pins The Miz and wins.

Final Result: Alex Riley by pinfall.

Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio

This is probably the worst match in Alberto Del Rio's career in the WWE. Alberto Del Rio came out first and after he posed at the entrance ramp, Big Show assaulted him. Big Show went to work on Alberto Del Rio outside the ring, throwing him around and destroying him.

As they fought near the announce table, Mark Henry came out of nowhere and destroyed the Big Show. The World's Strongest Man threw Big Show over the announce table. He then gave Big Show the World's Strongest Slam on the Spanish announce table. Mark Henry then looked like he was going to leave, but then decided to come back to Big Show and drop his knee on the broken table.

Big Show kept screaming like he was going to die. He struggled for a long time to get up. The ref started counting (for no reason) and Big Show eventually got in the ring. I think the ref realized that the match hasn't officially started because the bell rang when Show got in the ring.

So the match is finally on. Big Show manages to make Del Rio look bad on one leg. Alberto Del Rio kept getting pushed around until Alberto finally attacked Big Show's "injured" leg. Alberto eventually locked in the Cross LegBreaker and it was a pretty cool move. Big Show managed to get to the ropes and we wasted another 5 minutes of waiting for the Big Show to get on his feet.

The ref kept asking him if he wanted to continue and Show kept saying yes. Alberto Del Rio didn't really do anything but stand around here. It would have been better if Alberto was extremely vicious and wouldn't stop attacking Big Show's leg. Eventually, the ref just called for the bell and the result is that Alberto Del Rio won the match by submission. This match really killed the crowd. (Though to be fair, they were already dead.)

Final Result: Alberto Del Rio by submission.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Wade Barrett (Intercontinental Champion) vs Ezekiel Jackson

Ugh... where do I begin? Wade Barrett came out with the mic and no entrance music and pretty much insulted our country to get heel heat. It worked because naturally Wade is great on the mic. The crowd was kind of stupid though because they kept chanting "USA! USA! USA!" but Ezkeiel Jackson is from South Africa.

This match was slow as hell and boring to watch. Wade took control early and showed that he could hold his own against Big Zeke. The crowd started chanting "We Want Ryder" during this match too. I wonder what Vince McMahon thought of it.

Wade Barrett eventually hit The Wasteland finisher on Big Zeke but he kicked out! Big Zeke then fought back with his bodyslams and then he applied the Torture Rack to win the Intercontinental Championship.

The crowd cheered but it wasn't a huge cheer. So in a last ditch effort to get Big Zeke more over, The King grabbed a mic and ran to the ring to "interview" Big Zeke. Baaaaad idea! Ezekiel Jackson sucks on the mic. He hesitates a lot and doesn't know what he should say. All we got out of the interview was that he loves the USA and that he is the personification of domination.

Final Result: Ezekiel Jackson wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship by submission.

    Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk

Before the match, Punk said something about being the most honest man in the WWE. He'll let us know after he defeats Rey Mysterio.

This match was just like the Kofi Kingston/Dolph Ziggler match. It's nothing that we haven't seen in the past year. They did the best they can given how many times they fought.

There were some cool moves in this match. Like Punk carrying Rey and was about to deliver the GTS, but Rey reversed it into a Hurricanrana. Rey Mysterio kicked Punk into the ropes for a 619 and then Punk ducked and caught Rey Mysterio and gave him the GTS. Punk barely caught Mysterio, but managed to do so anyway. It was really great to see how talented these two wrestlers are.

Here's a crazy stat for you. This was Punk's first PPV win since the Extreme Rules PPV back in April 2010! Now we know why Punk wanted to leave when his contract is up soon.

Final Result: CM Punk by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Christian

This is their 3rd PPV Match in a row. The match was okay. It definitely wasn't as good as the first two but it was still fun to watch.

Orton must be the best concussion seller in the business because he really looked out of it the whole match. Booker T couldn't even tell if he was out of it or if he was going "in the zone".

The finish was another controversial one because Orton hit Christian with the RKO and pinned him. Christian didn't kick out because his foot was under the ropes. The referee decided to ignore it and gave Orton the win. This is what I really hate about the WWE sometimes. For storyline convenience, they can choose whether or not they want to use the instant replay.

The Miz constantly gets screwed out of his matches because the referee uses instant replay. Christian however, gets screwed because the referee doesn't use instant replay.

This feud will likely continue since Christian will have a legitimate complaint. I do think that for the Money in the Bank PPV, Orton needs a different opponent. Hopefully as a part of a storyline, Teddy Long makes it so that Christian has to earn his spot again since he's had too many rematches. I want Christian to win the Smackdown Money in the Bank and then immediately cash it in on Orton. That would be the best way to win it for him.

Final Result: Randy Orton retains the World Heavyweight Championship by pinfall.

    Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger

They aired another Truth/Cena video package but then realized they had too much time to kill so after the package... they had to fill in some PPV time and so they labeled this as a "Bonus attraction match". WWE can be really dumb when it comes to putting over mid-card wrestlers. They manage to bury both of them at the same time.

The match was pretty boring. The crowd really didn't care about this. Swagger dominated most of this match but Evan Bourne eventually won with a rollup. The same way he won 2 weeks ago.

Final Result: Evan Bourne wins by pinfall.

Fake President and Booker T segment

Oh great, they had more time to kill so they had the Fake President come on stage and talk. Absolutely HORRIFIC! Vince McMahon and his poor sense of humor is the only reason WWE kept doing the fake press conferences trying to hype this PPV. Now we have 10 minutes of this junk.

Booker T finds it really funny too because he got the fake president to do the Barack-O-Roonie.

After this travesty, we get the 3rd Cena/Truth package of the night and it's finally time for the main event.

WWE Championship Match: John Cena (WWE Champion) vs R-Truth

Worst match of the night and possibly of the year. We all knew that R-Truth wasn't going to win the WWE Title. I hoped that WWE at least would make R-Truth look like a strong contender here but we got the complete opposite. The crowd did their best with the "Let's Go Cena" and "Cena Sucks" chant. They even had "Little Jimmy" chants.

If you did not see this match, you should be thanking yourselves for being smart. Anyway, Truth got in some offense but Cena didn't really sell it. Eventually Truth hit the Scissors Kick, much to Booker's delight, but Cena kicked out of it. R-Truth then hit his new finisher (still no name for it) and Cena rolled out to the ring.

What does R-Truth decide to do? Why, let's go to a Little Jimmy in the crowd. Truth takes his cap and drink. Takes a sip, gives the drink back to the kid. The kid throws the drink in Truth's face and apparently Truth's biggest weakness is water because he couldn't move after this.

Cena magically wakes up, throws R-Truth in the ring and gives him the Attitude Adjustment to retain the WWE Championship. After the match, Cena posed for pictures with Little Jimmy and the National Guard to end the PPV.

Final Result: John Cena retains the WWE Championship by pinfall.

    ------------------------------------------------

Absolutely terrible PPV overall. The crowd could not get going at all because WWE kept finding a way to kill the crowd every time they tried to get hot. And they wonder why their PPV buyrates are terrible. If they keep this up, no one in their right mind is going to pay for this crap.

Arrow Monday Night RAW Review - 06/20/11

Monday Night RAW Review - 06/20/11

Been awhile since I did one of these. Let's get right down to it.

CM Punk and RAW GM segment

CM Punk announced on Twitter or Facebook (forgot which one) about how he'll do something monumental on RAW. So he opened RAW with it. He said that he defeated John Cena on RAW last week and Rey Mysterio at Capitol Punishment, which should make him the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship by default. He insulted the "Power to the People" theme saying that the fans making the decisions is the stupidest thing ever. Punk had a funny jab at the Baltimore crowd because he said they made the 1st mistake by living in Baltimore. "You could move you know."

Anyway, Punk wouldn't leave the ring until the RAW GM officially made him the #1 Contender. The RAW GM decided to be a dick and said that he would make the announcement later tonight, but since Punk won't leave the ring... he'll have to earn the #1 Contender Spot against Alberto Del Rio. Punk got upset and said that Alberto Del Rio got a fluke win over Big Show at Capitol Punishment. The RAW GM then added Rey Mysterio to the match. Punk finally left the ring before it got worse.

Divas Championship Match: Brie Bella (Divas Champion) /Nikki Bella vs Eve or Kelly Kelly or Beth Phoenix

    Eve - 11%
    Kelly Kelly - 53%
    Beth Phoenix - 36%

No surprise here in the fan voting. Kelly Kelly is the most popular Diva in the WWE. Michael Cole screws up by saying that Kelly Kelly is a former Divas Champion . This match was a typical Divas match. It went about 3 minutes long.

Kelly Kelly is starting to remind me of Ezekiel Jackson in the ring. She yells/screams a lot. She got in some offense, and so did Brie. The finish was botched. Kelly Kelly was up on Brie's shoulder and was suppose to do some kind of cradle rollup but Brie didn't roll over completely. Kelly Kelly had to flip her over a 2nd time and then Brie never kicked out. Kelly Kelly wins the Divas Championship for the 1st time in her career.

After the match, Brie and Nikki were pissed at each other (probably because Nikki didn't do anything to help Brie) as they headed to the back. Jerry Lawler got in the ring with a microphone and interviewed Kelly Kelly. Basically Kelly Kelly said she'll make us proud and that she's very happy. She thanked the fans for voting and that the WWE Universe makes good decisions or something like that.

Final Result: Kelly Kelly is the new Divas Champion after defeating Brie Bella by pinfall.

Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger or Mason Ryan or Sin Cara

    Jack Swagger - 19%
    Mason Ryan - 51%
    Sin Cara - 30%

The obvious choice was Sin Cara, but at the time... apparently the fans voted Mason Ryan. WWE.com is playing it off as if there was a glitch in the fan voting. They announced today that Sin Cara actually got 90% of the votes, but the Mason Ryan thing had votes from Kelly Kelly earlier in the night.

At the time of the voting though, everyone was thinking... "Who the hell would vote for Mason Ryan?" Michael Cole got some jabs in for the WWE Universe saying that they "did this to Evan Bourne".

As for the match itself... Evan Bourne got some offense in, which made Mason Ryan look silly. The crowd had a good Batista chant going. I wonder how Mason feels about that. This match was very average and it was tough to book. They're trying to hype up Evan Bourne again but at the same time, you can't have him defeating Mason Ryan.

The right person won though when Mason Ryan used his House of Pain finisher on Bourne.

Final Result: Mason Ryan by pinfall.

    Kane vs Mark Henry

    Body Slam Match - 13%
    Arm Wrestling Match - 52%
Over the Top Rope Match - 35%

Really WWE Universe? An Arm Wrestling Match? This never works and it's stupid. The crowd in Baltimore was smart though. They were chanting "This is stupid" for a good few minutes. Mark Henry did his typical heel thing where he kept backing away from the table.

Anyway, as expected... Mark Henry starts off strong, then Kane comes back, and then Mark Henry DQs himself by flipping the table over and attacking Kane. The World's Strongest Man went berserk and destroyed Kane. He slammed Kane through the announce table as well.

They're doing a good job with Mark again. He killed Big Show at Capitol Punishment and now he killed Kane. He really needs one good run as a champion though.

    Final Result: Kane by DQ.

R-Truth, Christian, The Miz and Teddy Long segment

This segment was really funny. If you did not see it, find it on Youtube! R-Truth ranted about losing to Cena at the PPV. He said, "I got got by Little Jimmy?" R-Truth got mad and told the crowd to stop "What-ing" him. Christian then comes out and called R-Truth "dawg" Booker T even said, "Did he just call him dawg?". Christian then rants about losing to Orton. He said his foot was clearly under the bottom rope when Orton pinned him and that he got screwed. Out comes The Miz and he called Christian and R-Truth whiners and crybabies. The Miz then himself whined about losing to Alex Riley at the PPV.

All three heels were in each others face (which is refreshing to see). Christian got mad at Miz for ranting about Riley when he just lost to his apprentice while Truth and him lost in Title matches. Then it went to this...

Miz to Christian: How dare you?
Christian to Miz: How dare me?
Christian to R-Truth: How dare you!
R-Truth to Christian: How dare me? How dare you!
    Miz to Christian: Really?
    Miz to R-Truth: Really?
    Miz to Christian: Really?
    Christian to Miz: Really!
    Christian to R-Truth: Really!
    R-Truth to Miz: Really!
    Miz to Christian: Really?
    Christian to Miz: Riley!
    Miz to Christian: Riley? Randy!
    Christian to Miz: Randy? Riley!
    Miz to Christan: Randy!
    Christian to Miz: Riley!
    Miz to Christan: Randy!
    Christian to Miz: Riley!
    Miz to Christan: Randy!
    Christian to Miz: Riley!
    R-Truth: Jimmy!
    R-Truth to Christian: Jimmy!
    R-Truth to Miz: Jimmy!
    R-Truth to Christian: Jimmy!
    R-Truth to Miz: Jimmy!

I absolutely could not stop laughing. This was the funniest thing ever. Then buzz kill Teddy Long comes out and said that nobody wants to hear the three of them whine and complain. I'm sure everyone begs to differ.

Teddy Long does what he does best... and that is... make a freaking tag team match. Miz, Truth, and Christian vs Riley, Orton, and Cena for the main event. I know it's three heels vs three faces like they always do. But tell me, how does that make sense? These heels were just in each others face and you pair them all up? Okay then...

United States Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler (US Champion) w/Vickie Guerrero vs Kofi Kingston

    2 out of 3 Falls Match - 51%
Vickie banned from ringside - 31%
    Submission Match - 18%

WWE apparently admitted another "glitch" in the voting saying that it was suppose to be Vickie banned from ringside. But anyway, it was a 2 out of 3 falls match.

They screwed up the 1st fall because it happened during commercial break. They showed a replay and Ziggler got that 1st fall by giving Kofi the Zig Zag finisher outside the ring and then Ziggler rolled him in the ring for a pinfall. Kofi Kingston then came back and got the 2nd fall of the match with the SOS finisher.

The match continued and Kofi continued to get the upper hand. Dolph looked scared of losing his title, so he tried to get disqualified. He grabbed his United States Championship and took a swing at Kofi. Dolph missed because Kofi ducked and then Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise finisher on Dolph outside the ring. He rolled Dolph in for the pinfall but Dolph got his hand on the bottom rope. Once again, Dolph escaped and grabbed a microphone from Justin Roberts. Kofi chased after him and took a mic shot to the head for his troubles. The ref called for the bell and Kofi Kingston won the 3rd fall by disqualification.

Final Result: Kofi Kingston by DQ.

#1 Contenders Match for the WWE Championship: Alberto Del Rio vs CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio

    No Disqualification Match - 23%
Falls Count Anywhere Match - 66%
    Submission Match - 11%

23% of the wrestling audience is stupid. A Triple Threat Match is already a No Disqualification Match!

I would definitely give this match the match of the night. Great chemistry between these three wrestlers. One gripe about this match was that they forgot it was a Falls Count Anywhere match as the match progressed. They went for lots of pinfalls early outside the ring and that was great. But later on, they didn't remember and only attempted to cover someone inside the ring.

The finish came when Rey Mysterio hit the 619 and Top Rope Splash on Alberto Del Rio. Rey covered Del Rio but Punk threw Rey Mysterio onto the ring post. It was a cool spot to see Rey sliding on the ring all the way to the steel post. CM Punk then covered Alberto Del Rio and got the pinfall victory.

Final Result: CM Punk by pinfall.

After the match, CM Punk got on the mic and told everyone what we already know. He said his contract is up when the clock strikes midnight on July 18th. The PPV is on July 17 in his hometown of Chicago. He said he is going to win the WWE Championship and take it with him because he is leaving.

This should be extremely interesting because you know the fans in Chicago will be cheering for Punk and they'll really boo the hell out of Cena. The question is... will they let Punk win the title? I believe that reports out there say that Punk's contract really expire in September, so the July thing is fake. Also, if Punk really was leaving, there will be no way he takes the title.

Hopefully they can do some kind of swerve here. Have Punk win the title from Cena and then have the RAW Money in the Bank winner cash it in on Punk immediately. It would be fitting since Punk won his first title because he cashed in the Money in the Bank. Might as well have him lose it because of that same reason alone.

    Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes

    Paper Bag Match - 43%
    No Countout Match - 51%
    Collegiate Match - 6%

What the hell is a Collegiate Match? I guess 6% of the people voted for it to find out. The Paper Bag match would be the most fun... but instead, we got a No Countout Match. Ugh. There's really no point in a No Countout Match if you still have to win by pinfall inside the ring.

This match was really short though... like a Divas match short. Daniel Bryan won with a roll-up. After the match, Ted DiBiase came out and laid out Daniel Bryan.

If you haven't been following, Rhodes and DiBiase are back together on Smackdown. Mostly because you look how far these two have gotten since they left Legacy. Rhodes is an established heel while DiBiase has done nothing. What they're doing here is that DiBiase is looking to Rhodes to get him back on the right track.

Anyway, Cody Rhodes hit the Alabama Slam on Daniel Bryan and Booker T called it a Sidewalk slam... :wtf: Cody Rhodes eventually put a paper bag on Daniel Bryan's head.

Final Result: Daniel Bryan by pinfall.

Dance Competition: Vickie Guerrero vs Michael Cole or Jerry Lawler or Booker T

    Michael Cole - 47%
    Jerry Lawler - 39%
    Booker T - 14%

This is what I really hate about the WWE. They feel like they NEED stupid things like this. Michael Cole wins the dance competition despite getting booed more than Vickie Guerrero. What a waste of time..

    Final Result: Michael Cole wins.

John Cena (WWE Champion), Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Champion), & Alex Riley vs R-Truth, Christian, & The Miz

    One fall to a finish - 15%
    20 Minute Time Limit - 6%
    Elimination Match - 79%

Wow... terrible choices. 15% of the audience is once again stupid. What kind of a match is one fall to a finish? Oh I know! A standard match! Talk about a major fail.

Then you have the option for a 20 Minute Time Limit. Really? Why would you vote this? Is it because matches don't have time limits anymore? There's no point in voting for this.

So it's an elimination match and boy did the booking suck for this one. There's really no surprise here though... we all know Super Cena will win it. I honestly don't know why I waste my time watching this junk. I know I'm a Cena hater but there's a reason for it. Give us something different! Please! But nope, it's the same crap over and over and that's why I constantly bash Cena so much.

Back to the match. This match went 20 minutes anyway, so the people who voted for it... didn't really need to. Alex Riley was the first to get eliminated. The Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale on him while the ref was distracted. Christian got the pinfall on A-Ry.

The heels looked "good" against Cena and Orton but did anyone really think they were going to win? Orton was waiting for the hot tag at one point of the match. R-Truth f***ed up when he and Cena were both down in the ring. Cena kept inching towards Orton like an idiot for a good minute. What he was really waiting for was for R-Truth to break up the tag. But R-Truth kept staying down and he tried crawling back to his own corner.

I couldn't help but notice that when Truth crawled to Christian... Christian backed away and pointed at Cena. This signaled to Truth that he was suppose to break up the tag and so he did. Orton got pissed off (because it took so long for Truth to realize it) and kicked the steel steps outside the ring.

The finish came when Cena eventually hit the Attitude Adjustment on The Miz and pinned him. Orton then hit the RKO on Truth and pinned him. Christian then speared Orton and pinned him. Christian kept taunting because he pinned Orton only for Orton to get up and RKO Christian. What the hell? Orton, you lost! Why are you cheating? You're a face!

So Christian ate the RKO and then Cena puts the STF to get Christian to tap out. The faces actually cheated to win. Super Cena and Super Orton celebrated with their respective titles to end RAW.

Final Result: John Cena, Randy Orton, and Alex Riley wins.

The show could have been much better. It was a pretty long 3 hours. The 1st hour was pretty stale. The only highlight of the night was the Christian, R-Truth, and The Miz segment. The #1 Contender Triple Threat Match was great too. Everything else was complete crap.

Have not updated this for 4 months! Updating it to see their records.

Wow. It took me almost 100 minutes just to get caught up from February until the end of April. When WWE changed their website layout, they took out the easy way to look up the results through the archive. I'm tired now, so I'm going to take a break. I'll continue this when I have some more free time.
