If I'm correct, I do have the HDMI-output version, but with the Zephyr configuration. If I remember correctly, those models are supposed to be more stable than the earlier Zephyrs, but...<shrug> Anyone able to corroborate that?

Iron Duke: I have the same model as you. When I brought my 360 back in Sept for NHL 08... I made sure to get the one with HDMI Port included. And if you look at the manufacturer's date, it has to say July 1, 2007 and above. Any models before that date shouldn't have the HDMI Port I believe.

I just recently bought Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Ratchet and Clank. Both are exclusive to the PS3 and both are outstanding. There are also other games like Resistance and Heavenly Sword (which I haven't played but have heard good things about) not to mention the non-exclusive games. The lack of good titles for the console has been blown way out of proportion. More and more games are being released. It's only been out for a year after all. How many good titles does the Wii have? Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, and Final Fantasy are just a few games coming in the not-too-distant future. And as you said, Blu-ray. Plus, non of this breaking down crap. The PS3 is built to last. It's a tank. For what you're getting, the PS3 is a much better deal.Quote:

Had the RED RING OF DEATH on my XBOX. I called XBOX customer service and they told me it would take 8 weeks for them to fix and ship back to me. But, I too bought mine from Costco and took it back. Got my money back, bought a new one and saved $60. Long live Costco!Quote:

There is a reason people are nervous and anxious about the 360 breaking. It is because the 360 experience is so much fun. Waiting 8 weeks or whatever is excruciating.
