American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns
American McGee Talks Alice: Madness Returns | Horror Movie, DVD, & Book Reviews, News, Interviews at Dread Central
Looking forward to this, even though puzzle games aren't my strong suit. The fact that the original game is supposed to be included is also a plus.

Finished the original game earlier today. Extremely hard bosses (Jabber #2!) and a couple of horrible death spots, but well worth finishing.
Started the new game and I love the art direction. Looks great. Controls are much better now. Like the new innovations like multi-jump, float, a ranged weapon and bombs. Ability to shrink at any time really changes things up. Hopefully things continue along this path.

Half-way into the new Alice and it is loads of fun. GOTY candidate for me so far.
Upgrading the 4 weapons seems to be quite easy as you earn teeth all over the place. You'll be strolling along and poof some baddies appear. Then next time there are a bunch appearing in mid-air while you fight a harder guy on a raised platform. All the baddies have a weak-point that you need to use (weapon, evade, bounce-back-attack, etc.). For the platforming type parts, you are not usually penalized for falling deaths, unless it is something like a lava pit. Lots of stuff to find too for those completionists.

Probably 1/2 way through the game now - so far pretty entertaining and very demented!

Finished it last night. Excellent game. It's on sale for <C$40 now, so getting some dough back a few weeks after release is a bonus.
The DLC is 160 pts and you get dresses/weapons that make you near invincible, so I recommend going thru it first without.
