Thread: Anyone playing WOTLK? (WoW x-pac)

I was going to buy an account off this guy for 50 bucks, but I am thinking I'll get the new starwars game for Wii instead. or go play poker. or get new running shoes.

I'm one of those purists, but buying an account just isn't worth it, unless you just plan on trying to raid or arena, otherwise the game just stagnates at cap level.

The most fun I had was Arathi Basin and doing 0 dmg and 120K healing or whatever I did with 40+ HKs and 0 deaths. The game, while very epic, is kind of lame and I'm a better man for quitting WoW(i think)

Hah, you echo my feelings. Just out of curiosity, what class? I remember running around as a Disciple Priest being nigh unkillable. Granted, I now run around Warhammer as a Rune Priest feeling the same way, but, I digress.

Well, I picked it up today, because my brother offered me his 70 warrior. Played it around the first zone for a bit, very fun, and fortunately I feel like I wanted to do something else after about an hour (and already a few bubbles into 71) so I logged and havent been back on since. Ill probably play in a little while. I was never a super addict, I just always feel that these sorts of games are a serious time sucker, but at the same time, fun.

I dont know, given amount of time it takes to get to 70 (and the idea of having to do it for a third time, having had two 1-70s previously) 50 bucks is a small price to pay for a character ready to jump into the xpac...

also, Northrend so far is beautiful...

I will also say that the new death knight class is pretty fun so far. Melee dealer with spells and a pet.

The quests are really fun this time around. The event with the King of Stormwind is amazing too.
