Any way to play it casually? or am I still required to sign my life over to even make a reasonable dent in the game?
I quit WoW awhile ago, but I am interested in this.

Im probably gonna get it next week. I'm a pretty casual gamer anyways. I wind up questing with friends/guildmates and running the occasional instance. I've been able to get into a few raids as well. I dunno what your goal is in terms of the game, but I just log on, have some fun, log off. I have a 3 hour time limit. If you can't complete a run in 3 hours, its time to log off and try again later.
Having to play three hours a day just to "keep up," (and I wasn't a serious raider, never more than one day per week) is what made me quit in the first place. WoWdetox.com is what helps me keep from coming back. Just curious if WOTLK is monumental in some way, or more of the same. I'd ask old guildies etc., but I know they're all hardcore addicts, much more hardcore than I was.
The way I figure it, if I don't know about WOTLK, then I don't know what Im missing...maybe this thread was a bad idea. haha.
It's pretty much a casual gamer paradise now. The top guild of all WoW beat every instance at heroic within hours of release. I quit before BC (I was a hardcore raider unfortunately) and came back for WOTLK. Death Knights are pretty badass though.

It's more of the same. Prettier. Funner. But still the same game. If you enjoy the leveling of your characters, then you'll enjoy it. It's pretty much a reason for people who were at 70 for a year to still have something to do. Guess it's better than a kick in the balls.
