Thread: Assassin's Creed

I love this game. I can see why it got mixed reviews, but I am having all kinds of fun playing it. Kind of reminds me of Shadow Of The Collosus, which is a fantastic game, in the sense that it is was out of the ordinary.

The control scheme for climbing walls/running around the roofs of the cities is great, and I enjoy the fighting system a lot. Lots of brutal deaths for guards you fight too. I haven't beaten it yet, although I could have if I had been doing the minimum investigation stuff, but I'm doing all the investigations and finding all view points and saving all citizens.

Anyone else playing this?

360 or PS3?

better than Shadow of Colossus... lots more to do. The graphics are slick. 360 here.

Just picked it up for the PS3 - really looking forward to playing it.

What mixed reviews ? I've heard nothing but good things. Is it more GTA or Prince of Persia ? (btw I love Prince of Persia)

Everything from 100 to 70. I'd say that was mixed. It's basically a mix of Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and GTA.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm going to plop the $60 down on Mass Effect, so figure I'll try to rent Assassin's Creed first. From what I've seen, most reviews have been very good, aside from some odd ones from ign and the like. From what I've seen lately, ign's reviews have been crap recently anyway, so... Keep us posted on your game experience.

I beat it yesterday. The storyline gets way more complicated then I thought it would, I ****ing love this game. I cannot wait for the sequel.

The ending is full of crazy stuff.
