Thread: Battlefield 3

Played for about 4 hours today and its multiplayer mode has a fun factor that COD can't match, plus no goofy perks like radio control cars.

Played a few hours before, during, and after the Kings game. Single player campaign is fun. Multi-player was also fun, but a bit frustrating in that my default weapons were never the same. Had a gun that i liked during one game, and I couldn't find it during the next game. I guess your default weapons change from game to game??? Driving around in a tank was fun after learning the controls on the fly. The destruction was also pretty cool. Sniper on the second floor of a building?? No problem! Just blow up the wall!!

Picked this up yesterday along with a new video card to play it with.

Fooled around in campaign mode to get a feel for the game. Was a lot of fun. The click this button to do something intermixing was both entertaining. . .and a little annoying to me. Kind of takes you out of it, but makes it a little different too.

Also did a couple of multi-player matches. That was a riot. I'm new at these games so I suck, but it sure felt cool to get my first kill. I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time in this one.

Started a Platoon for Battlefield Battle Log.

Go to Search and type in "Lets Go Kings" and you should see it with a crown and our record.

Your guns will change because your either American or Russian, each have their own set of guns, which I think it pretty cool. They each have their own set of unlockable guns for every class type.

Played a couple hours of multiplayer with my buddies, once we were able to find a game and squad up, the game play is awesome! Love that you can take so many roles, attacking, defending, in a vehicle or in the air. I'm either an Engineer or Recon

Edit: I just looked, and it looked like some guns can be unlocked and be used for both American or Russian sides and some are not.

I believe the guns are different for attackers/defenders. Atleast i'm certain that's how it is for sniper rifles.

yes they are.. i think its Russian vs American but once you start getting in higher ranks u will get guns that will you will be able to use with all classes..Battlefield is the best series EVER i liked COD but this is better.i feel like the first 1-10 classes will be hard. because the only class you can kill vehicles with are practically engineers. so i feel that the game is heavily weighed towards them. which i really dont like because i like to use ALL classes. i didnt like that they changed the controls on the vehicles thought.. after mastering the vehicles especially the Helicopters, it took some getting used to. But after a while i learned to love it because it takes more skill and actually shows u need some SKILL to fly

After playing the series since it was only on computer. i say this game is a step up. everyone who played COD might not take a liking to it because of how different it is. but if you have played the onld games. you will start to see it is a step forward.

Anyone that plays MW3 and isn't playing BF3 because its not MW3 is nuts, this game is a ****ing riot. Its Planetside on a bigger map, with more people, and no lag whatsoever.

Oh, and you get to kill a rat!
