Thread: Battlefield 3

The game is crazy fun. Vehicle combat is great. Got into a dogfight with 2 jets, got one before a stinger got me. Super fun game.

It's been such a fun game so far. I love that you can customize your weapons before you respawn. I've used a tank, and a jet only once so far, and it was purely by chance. Are they only available on certain maps or gametypes?

You are correct, some maps have will have choppers but no jets. Just depends on the size of the map.

Why do I get the feeling i'm being sniped with Shotguns?

Now if EA could keep their servers up, rather play BF3 than watch Giants/Dolphins.

Because of EAs "Online Pass" feature and since I rented this on GameFly, I was only able to play the single player campaign.

The first thing I noticed right off the bat was how much smoother the controls were. Past game controls in the series were a bit sluggish and slow to respond (i.e knifing), this time however they were not. The game-play was a bit sloppy, a few of times the game would glitch and be stuck on an objective even after I had completed it or sound would lag a second or two behind the actions. The storyline was similar to the Call Of Duty series but it did have a different feel to it, I enjoyed it.

Ah, I was wondering why you didn't jump into multiplayer.
