Anybody download and play the beta yet? Played it last night on the 360 and was extremely disappointed. To me it was very COD like. It went from a must buy to a barrow it from a friend and see if Dice can fix it.

Ya I have it. I didn't like it only because it's on current gen, but for nex-gen is where I am getting it.
It's also cause they are upping the FPS to 60 for nex-gen.
Also I hear people complaining how it's all glitchy and graphics suck, I laugh and think, they have no idea what a Beta is..
A lot of people complained about BF3 beta, but look how that turned out.

The demo isn't the final build, the build evolves as DICE see's what is unbalanced or needed.

The Bf3 beta was bad but that build was 3 months old. I don't understand why they release old builds, they did it this year as well with Bf4 beta which I believe it was a 2 month old build, when they have more current versions at Game conventions and promo places. Which turns people away because most new gamers don't understand the difference between betas and demos, so it can kill their sales. And like you said it makes someone think twice of wanting to risk shelling out the cash for the final product.

Honestly, I loved COD up until black ops 1 when i noticed it was just getting duller and repetitive. I did however fall in love with the Battlefield series back when Bad Company demo was first released, it was flawless. So i was actually playing both series at the same time. I enjoyed playing Battlefield more than COD cause I loved the way you use vehicles, and the maps are incredible. The reason i liked playing COD was because it's so quick to jump into a lobby when your losing and just start wrecking the other team solo with no team work needed. Playing with friends and family was one of the main reasons I mostly played COD. We mostly talk when playing and it was easy to get a group together.
And with Battlefield 4 being upped to 60 Frames per second, making it faster paced gameplay. I think it will be easier for COD fans to make the switch and feel comfortable. There's also a ton of game modes to chose from. Not trying to persuade you or anything We have to respect each others opinions If only kids would stop fighting over which is better haha It does make for good videos though.
Though I do not advise anyone to buy BF4 on current consoles as it will suck cause the consoles can't handle it so it is pretty much limited on many things. player size, graphics, FPS, etc..
