The press release mentions that the Guitar Hero Guitars will be compatible with The Beatles: Rock Band. Also, The drums, and Hoffner Bass WILL NOT be sold as "Stand Alone" Instruments. so the only way to get them would be to buy the Special Edition Bundle for $250. The Rickenbacker 325, and Gretsch Duo WILL NOT be included in the SPecial Edition bundle and will be sold separatley about $100 a piece.

This will be my first venture into the Rock Band franchise, so I will be getting the bundle. Luckily, I already have Guitar Hero, so I won't HAVE to buy an extra guitar, but I just might buy the Rickenbacker later down the line.

it's fun, it's karaoke, it's the beatles, i get that, but i don't understand the paying a lot of money for the controllers...seems like the industry has figured out another way to take money out of people pockets, needlessly.

really don't like the whammy bar on the hofner, it just looks wrong.

Supposedly the next Guitar Hero is Green Day which could be fun.

I have GH 2 and Rock Band, but need to get the later versions and the wireless guitars, plus the Metallica edition. DOn't know aboiut this one though

i just got rock band 2. but i only paid 80 bucks, so i think i'll just buy the stand alone Beatles game

I'm going to say something blasphemous right now. I don't really like the Beatles whatsoever. I'm not taking away their contribution to popular music, but I just don't dig them personally. This RB edition is a huge pass for me. Thank god they keep releasing great DLC, like Maiden this week and Alice Cooper a few weeks ago.

I feel the same way about the beatles, but I might actually buy this. Rolling Stones would be dope.

Hey the Beatles aren't for everyone, that's for sure. That is what's great about music and these games in general. As long as they keep releasing a large genre of music most everyone should be satisfied.
