Thread: Bioshock 2

No thread for Bioshock 2 yet? Is everyone playing COD?

Don't think anything can beat the twists of the first one, but I'm liking #2 for all the new stuff it has. Nothing was as freaky in about the last 10 years of gaming as those white plaster spider splicers that appeared from nowhere from the art-lover's level in the first one.

Back to #2... Dual-wielding is nice to have finally. Dealing directly with the Little Sisters now is different. Hacking is better. There are more choices of what to buy with your Adam. Weapons are good (from what I have so far).

The new enemies are nice (and tough). The AI seems a lot better as well (died a lot more so far using the normal difficulty). Story is entertaining, but I'm only in the run-down shantytown area (level 5?).

Not a fan of online play or the ending of the story. Everything else was about expected.

I definitely need to get this soon. First one was very good, slighty overrated imo but still very good

Nope.

Finished it a few weeks ago. Not as epic as the first one story-wise. Definitely a rental though. I only paid around $25 for it thanks to some nifty EB Games trading I did.

I enjoyed it quite a bit!!!
