Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (FINALLY!)

I've been pimping this game for more than a year, so I figured I'd make one last thread on it. It should be in stores on the 24th, after being delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed. Check out this trailer:

Pretty nice gore system, no? CoD 5 looks alright, but that series is mostly empty calories compared to BiA. If you liked Band of Brothers, you'll probably like this. There are certain "mainstreaming" directions that they took that may or may not pan out, but it looks great.

Oh damn...I wish they would put the demo out...I want to get a taste before i buy.

I bought the 360 just for this game 3 years ago. but the game was postponed several times over the past 3 years. glad to see it is finaly here.

The Good:

Visuals are great, sounds are great.

Squad AI is much better than the first two games

The Bad:
Multiplayer seemed rather "meh"

Third-person cover and the new "warning" system really gimp the challenge that the original games posed. Still, you can turn all that stuff off and just use the iron sights.

Occasional German AI glitches.


It's fun enough, but considering how long it was pushed back, I can't say that I am ridiculously wowed.

Oh, there's nothing quite like tossing a grenade behind enemy cover, watching the Germans go "OH S***!!" and book it, only to get blown to pieces as the action camera zooms in and slows down the action. The gore in this is great, especially when you have legs flying off in different directions.

I hope there is an infinite grenade code, because I want to go through and just use as many explosives as I can.

Im having a blast, just started today. BTW, I love how I can see all your gamercards on the user info right on the posts! That rocks :)
