Thread: Call of Duty 5: World at War

I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. I will gripe that the multiplayer takes forever and a damn day to connect and load the maps. WAAAAY longer than COD4. Also, I'll go ahead and whine that I got the game a week late and I'm getting raped by people with baskets full of perks to choose from while I get the hang of the new weapons. My biggest complaint is that the narrator blathers on too much during multiplayer.

Otherwise it's awesome. Love driving the tanks around blasting people down the other end of the map. The flame thrower is wicked fun in single player.

Those are the only ones that interest me and you can't fault me for trying even though I didn't grow up with video games at all.

I thought it was cool that they got Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Oldman to voice characters in the story mode

Just got it. I'm digging it so far. I need a break from LBP, anyway...

I know that my girl won't even play them she sticks to GH & Buzz.Buzz is fun with at least 4 players.

I'm getting sick of WaW. The game is broken. The guns are weak, and I feel like it's more about luck getting kills than actual skill. I mean, I usually do okay (my kdr is 1.80) but I just feel like Treyarch did a crappy job of making the game.

I'll probably end up playing SOCOM mostly, and Killzone 2 when it comes out.

Thought it was funny seeing COD5 in tonight's South Park. They were playing the Castle map.
