Thread: Call of Duty: Black Ops

I really did not have any interest in buying this game until everyone on my Facebook and PSN friends were playing it. My friend randomly shows up with it and we do some 2 player online. Wow, this game is really fast-paced, but I love it! I will be buying it sometime within the next month. The one thing I don't like are the dogs and the rc car, kind of annoying. Can't wait to get it though.

yeah, RC car is dumb...dogs are cool.

What I really hate about this game is that they encourage camping. Motion sensor, claymores... really?

The nuke was retarded in MW2 but this game can be just as stupid. Campers will easily get the dogs with a 11 kill streak and they're overpowered as hell.

I can't help but notice that the majority of my deaths are because I'm the one running around the map looking for people to kill and all they do is pop out of a corner and shoot. I can't see how that's any fun to be honest.

This is why I don't play this game when the LGKDS isn't online.

The most frustrating part of this game, or any of its predecessors is that all of my training goes right out the window. I try clearing a room and there's some ass clown camping around the corner seemingly waiting for me. Of course, I could try to get a full squad to clear buildings, but in this game it seems like that would be more detrimental to the team.

So I tried camping, and by and large I suck at it. I don't know if there's some secret invisible code that the other people are using, but something's not right and it's probably me. So I run around lost like Jones in the defensive zone and it's really a toss up wether or not I end up plus or minus (kind of like JMFJ in the defensive zone).

I play with or without LGKDS, but it's definitely more fun with the death squad, especially waiting for Dexter to try to get us all into a game.

Edit: I will say however that this game (to me) is not nearly as frustrating as MW2 was and while I complain with the rest of you, I don't know how much better the experience could really be short of getting some airsoft weapons or at least paintball guns and having an annual or monthly "LGK Ops" "combat" that was a little more true to life.

That's right, I said airsoft... it's not as fun or realistic if getting shot doesn't come with some extra sting. Been there, done that, give it a try some time.

The Hacker Perk is pretty cool, I use it to find claymores...which leads me to the campers.

Our parties are typically nearly full when we play. Kinda sucks that there's only the option of playing Ground War with 8 people instead of something like strictly team deathmatch, or at least barebone ground war. I absolutely hate the RC Cars.

I can deal with campers because if they kill me once then I will kill them right after and know where they are going to be from then on.
My only real complaints about the game are the RCXD's (those things are so pointless, biggest gimmick in a cod game ever) and the spawning. I can't tell you how many times I've spawned just to have the entire enemy team shoot me in the back.

Damn, I guess I will be very frustrated if this is true. I used to hate prestiging in MW2 and not having cold-blooded right away, getting gunned down by a helicopter or plane as soon as I respawned.
