If you're purely domination, I agree. W/L ratio is way more important. But if you're purely Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed, the K/D ratio pretty much shows how much you're helping or hurting the team.
Either way though, when I play I could care less about either of those stats. The important thing is to have fun with the LGKDS.

It's tough in random rooms where you are the only one going for flags. I think people play domination just to get their kills up.

I play domination because it makes it more organized, instead of running around randomly. I also enjoy the 6 on 6 games instead of the huge games, gives you time to actually capture flags without someone being there instantly.
One thing that messes up the W/L ratio is that when you first join in, you always get dropped into a game that you are behind in scoring that someone else has quit. Last night I came in and endured the frustration of getting waxed so bad that it was basically the entire other team standing around our spawn point, killing us. When the game finally ended and the scores showed up, I WAS THE ONLY ONE ON MY TEAM against 6 other dudes.
My latest pet peeve is a similar pet peeve....I just played with a couple of guys who quickscoped me with....a crossbow!! I got stuck 7 times in one game by this dude who was sticking me from all sorts of ridiculous shots. Even more so than a sniper, how the hell do you quickscope with that weapon????
At least they got the matchmaking problems figured out on the PS3.
Aids is a horrible epidemic that has to be stopped.
