I just played my first online free for all and got killed about every 5 seconds with all kinds of different crazy weapons. I didn't kill one dude.
Game 2 ----> 4 kills woot!
Dudes in helicopters and air strikes are wiping me out. One dude stabbed me, how insulting.
The Original Pancake Hater
RR I have played since launch day and had a game tonight where I had 3 kills and 21 deaths. Next game I was able to call in 2 Pave-Low's in 1 domination game and had 27 kills and 12 deaths.
If you play, against me, you probably have killed me
I'm a pretty crappy player myself and I honestly hate how overpowered these air strikes can get. If I can get them myself easily, I might be singing a different tune. But I honestly still hate it right now because I'll be lucky just to get a 5 kill streak going.

While it seems like most of you are allergic to the "thanks" button, I want to personally say thank you for looking.
From there, I rely on one thing:
strategy, strategy, strategy!
I'm like the Brad Richardson of MW2 Team Deathmatch; I don't have massive "skills" when it comes to this game, but learning the nuances of each map can make up for a whole lot of deficiencies in shooting, aiming, etc. I've learned good routes for getting to the enemy first, in order to get a few kills before they even know what hit them, then I move to another area, to protect from getting ganked by the person I just killed.
So in short, learn the maps, develop strategy. Try to outsmart your opponents. It'll take a lot of trial and error to get there, but make that your focus. Some people are just better at button mashing quickly in order to cycle through weapons, or get to melee faster, or even to strafe better. So outsmart them by being in the right place at the right time. Get to playing with folks who are good, and watch how they operate. You'd be surprised at how simple their strategies are. But more than anything else, don't go running around like a madman, trying for 30 kills, 30 deaths. Don't be that guy

Who plays this on PS3? Post or PM your info so I can add you. We should get a mini clan started.
