Finished campaign on regular, and played a couple of hours on multiplayer. The MP is too much of an arcade feel to it. It's hard to explain. I guess it's something I have to get used to.
That's because there are no online servers. Infinity Ward opted for no dedicated servers, essentially the big FU to pc gamers. Cheating is already a problem online (on day 2) and IW still has yet to deliver the promise of anti-cheating protection that was promised.
As a fan of FPS on a PC, i was following this game closely. I decided in October that i wouldnt purchase this POS because it was simply a console port. The game is terrible to play on a pc. The matchmaking is absolute garbage in comparison to having dedicated servers. I have no desire playing a game that is hosted in Russia.
Currently on amazon, the pc version is rated a whopping 1.5 stars.
The maps are big, but I can't help but notice that everyone prefers to fight in one spot anyway. When I spawn after a death, I usually find myself going back to the same area of the map to fight because everyone is almost always around the "hotspots".

So who's ready for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?
I wonder how many people actually play the campaign since I personally don't care about the story.
All about online play with first person shooting games for me.
Call of Duty: World At War, I think I honestly played like 2 missions on campaign just to know the controls but the story was boring.
Halo 1: I'll admit. I didn't buy this game for the original Xbox and I didn't have Xbox Live at the time, so I never touched this game really.
Halo 3: Only bought this for the online play. I tried campaign but it didn't gain my interest.
Modern Warfare 2: Only played it because of that "level" everyone was talking about... and I was disappointed at how standard it was for me. I'm still playing through it because a co-worker told me there's a mission in Arcadia, CA? I wonder if that's true.
