Tis a joyous day as XBOX 360 has returned to the House of Ruely.

Mr. Ruely appreciates all of your thawtz and prairz and looks forward to many an hour of gaming bliss.

Look for smhinde and join him in his first day of online gaming in over a month... you guys will probably be seeing more of him than I will for a while.

Tried using the riot shield for the first time last night. Once I realized that you can deflect the bullets aways, it was actually pretty cool. As someone said last night, it was pretty funny watching people run away from you when they see that shield. Also, I FINALLY unlocked the claymores. Now I have to learn where to put them.

lightweight pro + marathon pro + commando pro + tactical knife > riot shield.

the people with the riot shield can't turn fast enough to block the knife attacks.

Riot Shield = Useless when it comes to a Semtex grenade and a noobtube.

I usually switch to riot shields when our team is losing in domination. At that point, I could care less about how many deaths I get, so I switch to Riot Shield and try to capture the flag. There was this one camper who was extremely smart. He had a grenade launcher attachment to his gun, and just killed me with it easily.

So in a way, it makes the riot shield useless for sure.

I did get a "clutch" win for a random team last night using a riot shield! It was in Scrapyard and the team I was on was controlling the match. Up until we had 195 points, we lost all 3 flags! The other team had 140 points but they held the 3 flags for a few minutes so their points shot up to 160 or so while we were stuck at 195.

I heard people on our team panicking because we just need 1 flag quickly to win, but there was a Pavelow destroying anyone who ran outside. I was using my new gun the F2000 or something and all I had attached was the grenade launcher. I managed to take out the Pavelow with the stinger, and charge the "C" flag. There was a riot shield guy guarding the flag. Guess what? I put on the grenade launcher and killed him. Then I charged the flag and picked up his riot shield. Tons of shots rained on me but I held on long enough to get the flag, and in a minute we won 200 - 190. The other team was so pissed in the lobby, it just made my night.

Especially since I was leading my team in points 3000+ and had 35 kills and 24 deaths with 6 assists.

I had an insane night a while back getting the winning kill by clubbing a guy with the Riot Shield. I even got it on the winning kill video...kinda funny

Too bad we can save clips from the matches... Could do that in Halo 3, right?

I've been trying to work on my "problem" by playing less the last few days. I was planning on not playing until the weekend....but that didn't happen.

Still, I have seen many of you on the last few days, and turned down a few party requests, but it's nothing personal. I'm working on for a few days, only going on for an our or two max, and just playing a few games in Team Deathmatch Express. I'll be back to playing in the party soon....

I wasn't feeling too good yesterday so I wasn't on LGK or MW2. I slept all day and had MW2 dreams.

I was playing some of the two player Spec Ops last night with my brother. They are pretty fun.
