Thread: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I'm digging the SCAR so far....working on the ACOG scope.

I take it I'm in the minority when I say I vastly prefer the Single Player campaigns to multiplayer in these games?

COD4 is a perfect example... Loved the story (though it was pretty short) and the online multiplayer really didn't do anything for me. ::shrug::

What do you think of the new Special Ops missions? A little mix of both online/co-op/campaign. Nice side addition to the game IMHO.

I'm like you Watti, I much prefer single player campaigns but I am looking forward to the co-op missions when I eventually pick this one up.

I will be honest I like the single player game too, though I have heard that MW2 is short. It is a quality story and I am glad they took the time to write it well.

I also bought it for the online play and have been having fun with my friends so far on that. However, who are the dudes with no life that when I got the game and played online my first time were like level 25??? WTF??!!??? Dude get a freaking life

I'm currently level 11 and there was a group of people (who I assume are friends) that were all level 45+. We were on the same team, and winning, and they were insulting me over the headset because I only had like 10 kills and 20 deaths.

Meanwhile, they had about 60 kills and 24 deaths or so.

Obviously, they sounded like over excited teenagers since they sound like they are way too into the game. Not having a life is one thing, but insulting others because they had more deaths than kills is a bit too much. Especially when you're winning.

I'm pretty sure its Arcadia, Virginia because the level it's mentioned is where you get the Burger Shot achievement. I play online with my mic off and muted tv.

Ah okay thanks. I played up to the part in Virginia Beach or something. I had a feeling it wouldn't have made sense to go to Arcadia, CA. I didn't touch offline campaign last night, only the online stuff.
