Thread: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Would you MW2 experts mind a few questions from someone new to the game.

First, I might play Deathmatch Express for a couple of hours and never play some of the maps, particulary Rust. Is there a reason for that?

Also, I think I must be doing something wrong, because after playing for a couple of weeks, I am almost always the low scorer on my team. I just am curious how some players are getting 20-30 kills even without help of a helicopter or Harrier. How does one get that good? Is there a specific way to play that makes it easier to score?

With that said, this is the most fun I've ever had playing video games, the replayability of this game is incredible. I just want to get better at it. BTW, I'm at level 68 but I've not gone through Prestige yet.

TDM doesn't have Rust in the rotation for Express.

To be honest, its one of those games that just takes repetition and practice to get good at. I've only ever played shooters, sports games and RPG religiously and shooters have always been my forte. Starting with COD4 it was an awakening for me. You have to adjust your eyes to all that's going on, learn to control your shots, positioning is huge, mastering the maps....its intense man. Just keep at it and you'll get better, just takes time.

On a side note a lot of the guys that regularly score 30+ don't have lives, jobs, GFs, sports etc. So they can focus completely on the game...that's a distinct advantage. I personally like playing hockey, and getting bjs from time to time so that cuts into my COD time. Haha.

I'm officially retiring (more so Jay-Z or Brett Favre than I dunno uh....well...some guy who actually retires or good) from MW2...as some of you know i am generally the guy that goes 20+ or so Kills to 6-10 deaths per game....but over the last week I cannot play for ****. I need to step away before I turn into this kid:

After not playing this for over a month thanks to FFXIII... I am surprised I didn't do too bad.

Went like 10 kills and 12 deaths in one map. Then 14 kills and 16 deaths or so. That's how I usually do aside from the rare 30+ kills and 20 deaths back then.

After dinner I sucked though. 6 kills and 15+ deaths.. just wasn't feeling it. The LGK party left pretty quickly though after I came back. Did you guys play for awhile already?

Oh and Dexter, Ecktore heard me just fine last night. Did you mute me or have the mic volume off or something? lol
