Actually, not a bad strategy. Just put one down and just keep picking it up to where you feel you'll get a gun fight. Actually playing and then picking up your own tags is not so bad.

Absolutely vital advice! You need to learn the choke points of every map and learn where people tend to camp.

My typical K/D is somewhere around 11/18. I hardly ever get streaks. If I do, it's for a care package.

Aiming seems to be my biggest issue. Going to and from, Down sight/From the hip, I get shot when it seems I had the drop on another player. I do better in hardcore versions, because I don't need a head shot or 10 hit markers to drop someone, but I tend to shy away from team games because I end up being the weak link. Free-for-all is only so fun for so long.

I don't die that much, but I'm not getting that many kills either. I don't feel like I "camp", but if I try and run around any more than I already do, my deaths go way up, but kills do not.

I need to flip my K/D to at least above .500! I want to have fun and help some friends win some games. Tricks & tips for a noob? Any advice on how to aim quicker or more accurately? Or is it as simple as practicing?

Use the akimbo auto-pistols and run around mowing everything in sight. It will bring up your k/d ratio.

First time I tried this today I got 4000 points, so if I can do it, anyone can score big doing this.

So I'm using a stealth mode build Dexter mentioned to me from IGN.com. It's working great for me so far. It's the MP7 with the silencer. (When I get the attachments I'll be using silencer and extended mags and/or rapid fire). Perks are Blind Eye, Assassin Pro, and Marksmen Pro.

That build says to use a Throwing Knife and Flash Grenade. I can't aim at all with a throwing knife so I think I'll just replace it with a claymore or bouncing betty.

The Specialist Killstreak is cooler than I thought since you get XP every time you get them too. 2 kills = Extreme Conditioning, 4 kills = Stalker Pro, 6 kills = Scavenger Pro.

Of course, if I'm sick of stealth mode, I have a backup class that I'm pretty good with. That's the Type 95 with Red Dot and Rapid Fire along with the AK47. (Using Overkill)

I just have to relay what happened to me the other day. Playing Kill Confirmed on Underground, I got a care package so a ran back to the clearing that's at the top of the stairs near where the C flag would be. I toss my flare, and as I wait for the package to drop a teammate comes up the stairs and proceeds to pin me in a corner so I couldn't go collect my package. So sure enough the package drops, I can't get it, and evidently a pal of the jerk who pinned me in collects it. The SOB then laughs at me over the comm link. I haven't been so mad over a stupid game in a long while, but those clowns got me good.

That happened to me one time in MW2. I was extremely upset over this. Thankfully, Dexter was playing with me at the time so he got the package. I reported/avoided the lowlife who pinned me in the corner for good measure.

You should swap out Marksmen for Stalker. Stalker Pro allows you to pretty much mob over enemy explosives and not get blown to pieces.

Good idea. I actually used Dead Silence Pro last night. I already have Stalker Pro when I use my Specialist Strike Package. But I'll have to see if I can switch that around.
