mw2 was horrible. It's not that i wasn't good at it (i was above 1.5 k/d ratio while playing with 3 bar connection, people saw me turn a corner before i saw them.) but because of how I could stab someone 5 feet away from me.....on top of unlimited sprint, nade launchers, and danger close. i'll stick with battlefield.

This is why i wont buy MW3....buying your double XP is BS....not only is it going to make fat people fatter but is coming from a company that already rapes us on priices anyway....

Funny how in 30 years Activision has turned from the company that took the challenge of making games for the 1st generation consoles and is now the same fat bastard Atari was back then.

I'm leaning towards buying neither. I'm not fond of the BF3 beta nor the MW2 patch known as MW3. I might just save my money this holiday season. Gears 3 is keeping me busy so that's a good sign.

Couldn't have said it better myself (except the last part, never played BF, so Black Ops would be the game I'd stick with.) I'm surprised nobody has thrown in the, "You just don't like it because you suck it it argument." and while I wasn't nearly as good in MW2 as I am Black Ops, I just didn't enjoy MW2 because it wasn't as fun. Noob tubes suck, stabbing sucks, shooting/aiming sucks (because you can be shooting directly at someone before they see you and still die,) and a lot of the perks suck. I really didn't realize how much I disliked it until Black Ops came out, because it's just a better game all around. I was already set on not buying Black Ops because I was always frustrated with MW2, so I figured why give myself the headache. The only reason I ended up buying Black Ops was because a friend brought it over, and it already seemed much better to me after playing 2 or 3 matches. I might do that again, have my friend bring over MW3 and then make my decision, but I probably won't buy it either way.

I did feel they did a better job with Black ops by taking out Danger close and adding the pro perks that are harder to obtain. What i hated were the RC cars (which was as annoying as the predator missile, somehow 99% ran into me even though there were other people around me) and the fact that the connection felt like it was even WORSE than MW2. every other game the host would have to be migrated......what's the funny part? IT MIGRATED TO AN EVEN WORSE HOST! Battlefield doesn't give me these problems. There are no perks in battlefield and you are forced to play as a team, where you don't even care if someone takes your kill, you're just working towards your objective. I'll stop with the Battlefield thing though, this is afterall a MW3 thread lol

Lol, when I first saw the commercials for Black Ops...they kept running the rc car Gamestop ad, and my first thought was, "Well that does it, I'm not buying this game." ...mainly because COD is notorious for putting in the cheapest/lamest ways to kill someone. When I finally played it for the first time, I realized it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be (and I still think it isn't that bad.) Dogs annoyed me at first, but I got good at killing them when I realized they were there. I'm pretty damn good at the game, so nothing really pisses me off too much. But yeah, the connection issues have got to go. Migrating every 10 seconds is BS, but it has actually worked to my advantage so many times. I will be getting shot by someone who is in my crosshairs, and he will just about kill me...then magically the host migrates, so I start holding onto my sights and trigger and kill him right when the game starts again. I know...it's really cheap of me, but people should be paying attention to the timer haha.

I went to Gamestop today after work and officially canceled my pre-order for BF3 and put it on MW3.
I asked the Gamestop employee if a lot of people are canceling and he said, "Way more than we expected." He said that EA wanted to remind us that the beta is from E3 and that the "final game is nothing like the beta". I told him, "Well, the beta is suppose to sell the product and make people really want the game. It disappointed me greatly and I didn't have fun with it. I am not going to risk 60 dollars on something that may or may not be fun." The employee responded with, "I don't blame you, that's why a lot of people are going with MW3."

I still love playing the original Battlefield 1942,modded out of course.im tired of waisting money on a game that I beat in a day(very disapointed in a few like that).Very disapointed with EA not making NHL available for pc anymore,I have always enjoyed playing on the pc more than a console. May just quit buying EA Games all together.the best game out right now for the money I think is Deus Ex human revalution. After all the reviews Ive read ,I dont want Battlefield 3 or MW3.
