F*** That---NEW GNR SINGLE TO BE DEBUTED ON ROCK BAND 2
Meh. I stopped playing Final Fantasy games after FF VIII. And really, that game was quite a disappointment after playing FF VII.
GNR?!? If you said Metallica's new album on Guitar Hero. Maybe.
The problem I had with the series after FF VII, was that they were taking advantage of the PS2 processor, too much. I beleive it was FF IX that I tried to play at a friends house, and it pissed me off because I sat there for about an hour, and only managed to get about 10 min of actual gameplay.
I'm so happy about the FFXIII announce for the 360. Now I don't have to waste money on the PS3.
I figured the PS3 would drop in price some more by the time we get FFXIII, but now I can just buy it for the Xbox 360 =D
I may still have to get the PS3 though, if Suikoden VI comes out for that system.
E3 is just a shell of what it used to be - it's really just a small press junket now. Each company gets the same game kiosks on the show floor, where they will probably show the games that have already been announced or are the most polished - no big surprises. Each company will also have a private suite, invite only, to showcase their top-secret games. I believe it's all taking place in the concourse between the South and West halls, when it used to take over the entire LA Convention Center.
The news will still be big, but this show is really small now - we used to spend $3 million on our booth, now we're spending a fraction of that.
Why did they make E3 so small again? I can't remember.
But E3 is still "huge" in a way. The Tokyo Game Show is pretty big too, in terms of announcing new things. But I think E3 is still the main one.
Also, didn't E3 used to be around during May or so? Not in July.
