Thread: Fable 3

Anyone have it yet? The reviews are not bad it seems. I hear the game is kinda of buggy. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy or wait for a price drop.

I am playing it - not as good as the last one, and it is a bit buggy as well. Definitely not worth the purchase - just rent it like i did.

Pros: Great voice talent including two of the funniest guys on the planet: John Cleese and Simon Pegg.

Cons: game gets very choppy often, story seems rushed. Tasks get very redundant.

This probably could have been a great game if they would have not rushed it out so early.

I am playing it now and agree with your points. Was surprised at the choppiness and glitches. It's very similar for Fable 2, the story so far has been a little weaker though. Gameplay is nearly identical to Fable 2 IMO.

Will have to see what the DLC brings to the table. I am a huge fan of the Fable series, but feel that Fable 3 (so far) hasn't really advanced the series much. I really loved the first game, and the next two have been decent follow-ups but haven't matched the original (if you include the Lost Chapters).
