I would guess it's because Fable III is coming out soon.

It's not that bad, so that's a great deal.

Thanks for posting, rinkrat! I don't go to fatwallet (too many hoarders/resellers; less of a community), but I need to share more deals from Cheap Ass Gamer on here. They post some amazing, often unadvertised deals (I'm getting the $130 Rock Band 3 game plus keyboard for $75) but I'm not sure what the rules are here in regards to linking, and I don't want to seem like a shill. I just want good people to get in on these good deals! My game collection would be half the size it is now if not for that site.
As for the Fable thing, this was a glitch and has since been corrected. I didn't find out till today, when I checked CAG.
However, there is still a way: If you have previously downloaded Episode 1 of Fable II (they released the game online as downloadable episodes and the first was free) you can go to your download history and re-download to get the full game!
I'm downloading now since I had Episode 1 in my history, even though I barely played it and deleted it long ago since I wanted to wait and get the full game. This 7 GB download will take a while, though.
I was planning to get the game at some point since the Platinum Hits version is $20, but with so many games coming out over the course of this year, I never picked it up.
The 2 DLC packs together cost $17, and the Platinum Hits disc release includes all the DLC, so if I enjoy the downloaded version, I will eventually (but probably not soon) get the PH version from Amazon since, for $3 more than the cost of the DLC by itself, I'll have the disc on my shelf (I'm particular about that sort of thing) and be able to free up 7 gigs of space on my hard drive.
EDIT: It took 3 and a half hours to download, but it worked! Now to find the time to play it...
