Be sure to turn it off if you try and do any sneaking. The radio won't give you away, but the light will.

Got the game a couple of weeks ago but have yet to put it in. I've been finishing off an older JRPG that I put away for a while.
I'm thinking I might need a game guide for this one, it's pretty big looking and I haven't played any of the other Fallout games before.

    FOR SHAME!

But really, if you haven't started the game yet, and you're planning on spending a decent amount of time playing it, the guide is probably worth it.

That being said, everything you'll need to know is on gamefaqs.com if you don't want to shell the extra bucks. But with the sheer number of things to do in this game, it'll be a big time saver.

So my wife got me a PS3 for x-mas (god bless her little heart) and I've been knee deep in Fallout 3 for the past couple weeks. It's amazing to me, as someone who's first video game system was an Atari 2600, that a game can be this involved. It took me a little time to adjust to the controls, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I enjoy taking my time exploring the wasteland and doing quests. I have several other games (Resistance 2, Madden, Burnout, NHL 09) that I have not opened because I can't get enough of Fallout.

I'm barely out of the vault & I'm a very evil plunderer. I guess I wasn't supposed to kill everyone in town, but they shot at me first.

I tried using IGN's guide, but my computer and 360 are in different rooms and it's a hassle.

I could beat the game without a guide, but I know I won't have time to play through it again since I now have almost 70 games for my 360, and titles like NHL 09 and their online play keep me from finishing single player stuff. Plus there's Netflix.

But Fallout is amazing, and I do want to finish it once and experience everything, so I bought the Prima guide. The only other problem is that if I don't have at least 2-3 hours to dedicate to it, I can't make myself put in Fallout.

I am currently level 18 and as evil as you can be. If they let you kill children i would be doing that without blinking.

Deathclaws = bastards if you aren't maxed with small guns for the combat shotgun kills or have a fat man.

and when you guys get to Paradise Falls and hafta free the kids...just do what I did and blow all those ****ers away
