If you have another 40 or so hours to kill, i recommend going through it again as a good guy. It'll be a different game, especially if you go to the half of the map you probably didn't touch in your first playthrough.

Have any of you PS3 owners run into game 'freezing' or any other glitches playing Fallout 3? I've read on several gaming boards that the PS3 version is full of problems towards the end of 'main quest'. i.e. Jefferson Memorial.

I haven't gotten this far yet, so I want to know if I might be running into similar problems. My system did freeze up while in the vault, taking the GOAT test.

Love it so far. Prolly only have 5-6 hours into it. Its a lot of fun! Difficult a bit. Still can't find where to get trained on energy armour but working on it.

Why did I open this thread? You bastards persuaded me to get this game. Oblivion took my life away for a few months, and this one is doing the same thing.

    Damn, I love this game.

I was about to get annoyed, then i remembered that the ink for your name is still wet on my "List of People Who Don't Know What the Hell They're Talking About" from your Avery thread. You're either an idiot, or a weak excuse for a troll. Either way, leave.

And yes, the ending did suck. That's only about .8% if the game. Get over it, they're fixing it with the third DLC.

    -----------SPOILERS------------
Go to the Citadel (it's on the other side of the river from the Jefferson Memorial). I don't think they'll let you in until you complete the main questline up to the part where you have to leave the memorial in a hurry with Dr Li. In there you'll find him, just ask someone. Almost everyone has a speech option asking about it.

I just got the third level 20 acheivement a few days ago (good, evil, neutral), and added up the time for my three save games and came up with 155 hours. NOT counting reloading (which i didn't do much of), dying (which i did plenty of), etc.

    That's about a month of working 9 - 5.

I didn't feel good about it, and immediately turned my Xbox off and went out.

I'm 16 hours in and about to venture to Rivet City for the main quest. I've been using the guide, doing side quests, and I'm the type of player who searches everywhere and talks to every NPC. I guess that's why I got the guide in the first place. I'm as good as can be, karma wise.

OK. .8%? The ending is a huge part of the game considering the fact that it makes the game unplayable afterwards? I am talking about without DLC. The game was good, but the ending just ****ed it up. There is no "right" choice really because in the end you cannot live in the outcome of what you chose anyways. I loved the gameplay and it was going in the right direction and then .......yeah....

Hey, i'm not going to argue that the ending was lame. It made we want to punch a child in the face. That's why my second two characters really didn't touch the main questline, but still had full game lives. It's a black mark, for sure, but it is far from a game-changing thing. There's so much more in the world to do.

Also, the first DLC, Operation Anchorage, came out yesterday for $10 on Xbox Live. It takes place in a simulation of the Battle of Anchorage where the commies invade Alaska. I got to play it a little last night and it was fun. More battle-centered (almost no item collection and other tedious things), pretty much straight find-a-guy-and-shoot-him kind of thing. Good times.
