After getting my shiz together I finally beat the Odin fight. I felt pretty stupid after finding out what I needed to do.

Finished the game tonight. 55 hours to complete the game for me. The last boss was extremely hard. I think I saw the game over screen about 6 times total and kept changing my party members and re-arranging the paradigms nonstop.
Haven't entered the post-game world yet.. I'll send you a PM on that USCKingsFan, so I don't spoil it here.
But overall.. well worth the money! 55 hours? That's almost a dollar an hour if I want to think of it that way. Plus there is a bunch of stuff for me to do still so I'm happy.

Finished the main storyline a couple of days ago, the last fight boss fight against Orphan was easy as I had maxed out my weapons and almost my crystarium too.
Off to do the majority of the side-quests...
Great game, a little less linear and a little more open world would've been nice.
It was worth the wait and worth the cost.
Is it just me or does anyone else never use Sazh outside of the two party with Vanille in the storyline?
I like a sentinel in the mix too much to use him.
I'm just grinding for gil at this point, a very difficult task in this game! Have all the trophies locked up besides the coveted Treasure Hunter trophy (Have obtained every accessory and weapon). Grind grind grind.
Fisch, I've heard of a lot of people that love Sazh in the post game. He ends up with the 2nd highest HP and his Blitz capability as a Commando is pretty good.
Not me though, I've had the all-female party since I beat the game.
I just got Haste with Hope, and I'm pretty much dumping Sazh for the time being. Light-Fang-Hope is my main party right now. I'm in Chapter 13 right now. I think I'm close to being done with the story.
The end boss of chapter 12 was pretty rough for me. Took a while, then he unleashed hell several times, but I got it.
I'm on Mission 3 in Gran Pulse and have had the most luck with a Lightning/Sazh/Vanille party.
Anyone else notice spoilers in the datalog?![]()
What kind of spoilers were in the datalog? Good thing I stopped reading them after Chapter 4 or 5.. lol
The team I had going into the final boss was Vanille/Fang/Sazh (in that order). I had to control Vanille so I could use Curaja, Curaja, Curasa when healing. I had a lot of trouble when I don't control the healer because the computer has them use Cura and Cure when they shouldn't be doing so. =\ Fang was my Saboteur and Sazh was my Synergist.
I also used Lightning/Sazh/Fang as well. What I did with this team was that they were all level 1 medics for me.. so I would have to switch to the paradigm where all 3 of them healed at the same time. I found this extremely effective because I was able to get to full health really fast so it allowed me to switch back to the Triple Commando (for stagged opponents) or Ravager/Ravager/Commando (to stagger them) paradigm.

Well, I guess I'm not positive that it's a spoiler yet but I don't see how it can't be. Won't post it here in case others don't know about it, but it seems like a pretty big revelation about one of the characters.
One other random thing: I found out the hard way that you can't run between the legs of the giant dinosaurs in Gran Pulse.
One stomp, entire party died.![]()
